Always boggled my mind when anyone compared Long to Trump; Long was clearly intelligent and articulate enough to also comprehend governing.
If Trump was like Long, he would be made president for life by the American people.

Plus Long was a socialist and Trump is for Trump.
Also Long seemed like he truly did care for the people (obviously we'll never know if the phrase 'Absolute power corrupts absolutely) but Trump has always care for himself first, plain and simple.
Long was a socialist, Trump is a capitalist. Not even close. But Trump was more successful and smarter. We know this because socialism never worked.
That was one powerful speech from a man of the people for the good of the nation

Please don't laugh. But a lot can be learned from auto salespeople and insurance agents. Sometimes there is still something like barkers in Germany. I think a communist party needs such people to emotionalize .
Often such people can also sum up the most important things very well

I though Huey Long was facist thanks to fucking Kaiserreich of all things and my own Apathy about it.
