Nice guide! I will say you have a very aggressive blink management. It helps you secure kills but it also leaves you open many times, I guess it is the trade-off you mentioned. Also I really really enjoy your pulsebombs, they are S+ tier class for sure, easily one of the best Tracer pulsebombs I've seen. Thanks for the video!

this is very nice to see, would like tho to see more without cuts so we get to see positioning and more engagement time when the enemy arrives. Also interested to see deaths to see what kind of mistakes you also do, not just the good moves that worked out

I'm so glad all you focused on general strategy. A lot of Tracer guides are way too focused on hyper-specific details and techs that don't matter 99% of the time.
Thank you! Yeah, I try my best to focus on the general strategy of heroes rather than, like you said, the hyper specific stuff that you'll barely do in actual games, lol.

I need to improve my blink into melee combo I always fuck it up but my overall fundamentals are okay. I try to use cover as much as possible and I’m always shooting
that's good! and yeah it'll take some time to get used too! all it takes is practice over and over again!
your aim is crazy! any tips on training aim in order to capitalise on enemy mistakes?
That's a hard one to explain, but honestly just keep practicing how the enemy moves, as in strafing and especially while in that jumping animation, that's when you can track them in the air, it'll be easier because you know they are gonna come back down right? so just practice getting the tracking down, let your hand be more relaxed on your mouse while tracking as well can help... you could also kind of flex your forearm which would help you track and flick to targets more but I only do that when I'm like really REALLY wanting to win lol because after a while it'll hurt your forearm alot, that's hard to explain, it's more of jittery aiming, some former korean pros back in the day used to do that in ow1 on tracer lol.
but yeah mostly just try to stay relaxed when tracking another hero, mostly track while they are in the jumping animation or running away ect, if they are strafing alot, try to keep that aim steady as well, if they keep going left to right, keep your aim sorta in the middle, so you'll always get hits on them until they change their movement, for mistakes just be aggressive, if you see someone make a huge mistake then I'd go in for the kill, I usually wait for mistakes to happen for me to get more elims, if the zen walks somewhere where his teammates are far away or if a winston messed up his leap, I usually tp into his bubbles to deal some heavy headshot damage, since his team should be far away because he missed his leap, then recall or tp out of there, things like that, go in on those opportunities.... hopefully that all makes some sense lmao
the only problem with pulse bombing the enemy tracer is the game of tag that happens straight after

You don’t see the melee buff as a change to Tracer?
Just a small tip he really did not touch on when playing tracer make sure if you do decide to chase a 1v1 make sure never really take a 1v1 under 2 blinks if you do that you have a higher chance to stay alive

I feel like i really struggle to aim with her at close ranges, but dont do enough damage at mid to long ranges. I think i need to lower my sens 😅
When you play tracer do you only strafe when you are fighting a enemy that’s facing you? I’m assuming if your behind them there’s no need to right. Should her strafe be short and fast?
I'm usually doing a fast strafe, also when going against say a widow crouching alot is good as well with the fast strafing, most of the time she'll miss and shoot over your head, but yeah I mainly do that, and if I'm behind an enemy I try to not strafe and focus all on my aim then as soon as they turn around I go into strafing or try to get behind them again using my blinks, to force them to turn around multiple times.
as a zen main who wants to main tracer this hurts watching zen hp get shredded HAHHAHA
I also worry about reaper when playing tracer cause he can also 1 hit

not really, honestly do the same stuff, just gotta be a bit closer to enemies that's all really, play a bit closer than usual because of the fall off
It is true that when you stick a tracer it hurts their ego bc that was me u stuck lol gg tho. Also as a last ditch attempt when u get stuck as tracer I should’ve tried to blink into u to try and take us both down just a quick tip.

Tracer is hitscan the projectile buff doesnt help her at all u can check this by standing very far from a training bot and shooting it instantly hits

It is great tho lol, it still takes alot of skill to be good with her, she's not like soldier 76 or Sojourn where you can run around and get kills lol, tracer takes alot more brain activity at least 😂

That Tracerr nerf that just hit pretty much brought her back down to B tier. She's pretty bad again bc everything counters her 🤷♂️ and she's completely unplayable unless you're coordinating with a dive tank or other dive dps..gl with that in comp
actually she beats essentially everything in a 1v1
@@seanlevi2618 lmao no she does not!! She can't solo anyone with decent aim. And she's has 175 hp haha she is good for cleanup and in coordination with a dive tank only.
