Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genius (Real Men of Genius) Today we salute you, Mr. Excuse Ridden Over-Confident Kansas Jayhawk Football Fan. (Mr. Excuse Ridden Over-Confident Kansas Jayhawk Football Fan) Eleven straight wins, you wore that classy "Muck Fizzou" shirt like you meant it! (Pinch me, I'm dreamin'!)
remmeber when OU bent your team over twice in the same season? also, you remember earlier this week when mizzou lost to iowa state in hoops? HAHA wait until tonight too!!!
It might have been funny to see Reesing take a safety...But it was even funnier to see Daniels get in the face of his fellow teammates and go over pout on a chair and cry.
To bad they didn't win the Big 12 last year but we won the orange bowl and won NCAA championship the same year so not to shabby. Not to mention we get our redemtion today!!! WOO ROCK CHALK!!! Bragging rights for a year!
Kansas was arguably one of the best teams in the nation statistically and they did have some quality wins but MU had just as many. Mizzou beat Colorado by 45pts (55-10) at CU, while KU won by just 5 (19-14). And while KU scored 76 vs. the huskers, they only won by 37 and MU won by 35 (41-6) which was equally as impressive, especially since they only gave up 6 as opposed to 39. Plus 31-point victories over Texas Tech and Arkansas.
yeah, we heard a whole lot of MIZZOU the other night when iowa state showed mizzou they should stick to that D-2 schedule they had. jayhawks win big tonight!
What do Kansas coach Mark Mangino and former Packer Gilbert Brown have in common? They're both humongous and they both have been associated with the University of Kansas. There must be something in the water in Lawrence?
Y'see, Mangino isn't just fat. His torso is an aggressive Texan land owner, eagerly buying up all the property between chin and groin and bulldozing it into one huge, sweeping curve. It's not that the man has no neck, he has nothing but this kind of... upside-down lightbulb shape to him. Or a bicycle horn, only instead of sucking in air he sucks in subs and bacon and grease.
But back to football: you brought up a good point about Colorado and App. State. Just because a team beats another team on a given day doesn't necessarily mean that that team is better than the other. However, in college football you usually only get one chance to play someone, so if you don't play your best its your own fault for choking (kind of like MU choking twice vs. OU). But besides just whooping Kansas, MU has far better numbers to suggest that they are in fact the better team.
the other sports at our schools are pretty evenly split. and we probably shouldn't use polls for arguing because the people who vote in those don't know shit, neither of our schools are in anyone's top five next year
But just to refute your comments: I thought we were talking about football? I realize that KU is one of the best schools in the nation at basketball, but if you want to talk about other sports- where are KU's college world series visits? MU has 6 including a national title, while KU has 0. And wrestling? MU is a perenial powerhouse, recently having a two-time national champion and 3rd place team finish. KU doesn't even have a wrestling team.
I would agree with you on the "Better that night bit" except, Everyone told you all year long, and no matter how many wins you racked up and points scored against them, that you were going to lose to Missouri at the end of the season, Every Sports Caster, Every Poll put them ahead of you until they lost to Oklahoma. I guess its just blind fanhood
you take wrong because i went to KU and loved them since 4th grade. you know what, every poll didn't matter, those things are a little shaky, especially this football season. and no one told me mizzou was gonna beat kansas, and i live in a pretty decent size chunk of mizzou turf!
MU played 6 games against teams receiving top-25 votes in the final AP poll and went 4-2 vs. those teams. KU played only 2 games vs. such teams and was 1-1. So while KU finished 12-1, their wins weren't as impressive as MU's who finished 12-2. Plus, KU did not finish first in the standings because it goes by conference record and since MU and KU both have 7-1 records and MU holds the tie-breaker, MU would finish ahead of KU.
kansas played a poor bball game saturday night. the only reason kansas entered that football game ahead of them is because they had a better record, most likely. KU beat mizzou 0 times in football this year, that makes them a better team that night. is app state better than mich? is washington really better than USC? is colorado better than OU?
KU has been to 11 bowl games. MU has gone to 25 and Arkansas has gone to at least 30. You're right; KU is way better than Missouri or Arkansas at football. Also about the home field advantage, Lawerence is much closer to Kansas City than Columbia and there are more KU alums in KC- I'd guess 65/35 KU to MU
i must say you bring up some good points. but, i think its safe to say MU didn't whoop kansas, they were fairly lucky to win, let alone by two scores. i don't know about mizzou's numbers being so great, kansas's offense and defense are still top 3. and kansas had wins that were more impressive, like the 45-7 rout of iowa state, while mizzou won by 14, and let's not forget that horrid day in husker history.
Are you serious? Everyone was telling you all year that the Football game that you for sure were going to lose was the Border Showdown, I LIVE IN LAWRENCE and thats all I heard all year "Missouri has a great team this year. Kansas is going to be pushed all the way to the fence with them" The only reason you even entered that game ahead of them is because they had to face Oklahoma IN NORMAN a place the havent lost at since 2001.
shmitty...nice name but you're argument is not convincing. mu dominated the first 3 quarters and then went to a prevent defense which allowed ku to move the ball more effectively in the 4th quarter. the offensive play calling was also much more conservative towards the end of the game for mu- they ran the same zone read run to tony temple at least 12 times in the 4th quarter.
and bartk34- Mizzou beat Kansas this season which means MU is better than KU this year- much like it has been throughout the history of both programs as the 25:11 bowl ratio shows.
And the bit about beating the shit out of Mizzou in Basketball, it was a close game, I was there. Mizzou showed true talent against the Jayhawks, I wouldn't over estimate them, but when it comes to football, the hawks are going to go 3 and out against Daniel and company. They ARE better than KU in football.
Talk your Numbers, Lets talk Standings, KU Fans call for a Split National Title. When the AP didnt even put you in the Top 5! KU Couldn't win their Division! Let alone be invited to play for the Conference! Or a National Title Bid. Every person outside of Kansas knows you didn't deserve the Orange Bowl because you were the 3rd best team in your conference. The Cotton Bowl sold out in 24 hours. The Orange Bowl had 9,000 empty seats.
u kno my friend only posted this on fb shes a KU fan that lives in missouri but u kno i dont care about this its just i found the part that it says missouri girls are fat? lmfao i am a missouri girl and i found it extremely offensive!
A season of bloated statistics and over-hyped wins against Junior Varsity competition, you went to Arrowhead Stadium thinking you were going to play dollies with a bunch of 1st grade school girls! (May I have another cupcake please !) Losing to a superior team with better players is no match for your what-if scenarios and could-have-been dreams ( He would have made those Field-goals if we were in Lawrence!)
My friend sent me this link to tell me how awful it is and he's right. This is by far the worst thing I've ever seen or heard. We're all dumber for having heard it. MU....Big 12 North Champs!
LOL this thread is a giant fight. All I can say is Men BB Championship,. Reg season big 12 champ and big 12 tourny champs....not to mention orange bowl championship. Hmm seems to out weight a big 12 north title and cotton bowl. Dont ya think?
so just keep talking because we'll let logic and numbers do our talking. final fours: kansas 12, mu 0. bcs: kansas 1, mu 0. and 07-08 record: kansas 12-1 first place in big twelve standings, mu loses two games, and cotton bowl champs.
are you saying all those years when MU upset KU in basketball, that MU was a better team, even though kansas would always go deep into the tourney, and MU might make the NIT? since you are so eager to bring up the past, let's talk about how many final fours mizzou has: a big fat zero! also, by your rationale, colorado is better than OU, and app state is better than michigan? no way! mizzou UPSET kansas, if they were a better team, it wouldn't be an UPSET, would it?
arkansas isn't much to brag about though, no SEC team is even worth the time and text it takes to write. we'll have to agree to not agree on this subject, its going no where!! bball; however, mizzou better start repping the big 12 a little better!!! either them or kstate will be 2nd in the big twelve north!
so am i still on the band wagon? how do we know you didn'y jump on the MU wagon? you have shown that you are not very good at making arguments, and support your team the wrong way. grow up, dude.
You are the one attacking my grammar when you don't even capitalize your sentences. The most basic of Grammar. Must be that KU education, right? Lol, Nice.

Eleven straight wins, you wore that classy "Muck Fizzou" shirt like you meant it!
(Pinch me, I'm dreamin'!)
Need remake for this season.. still listen to this before every game
"Maybe next year, probably not though"
Ironically that is on the back of every MU ticket sold.
This song epically failed to win a grammy because they said they have no talent.
Aquib Talib and Anthony Collins are both from Texas as well, while MU's All-Americans (Martin Rucker and Jeremy Maclin) are both from Missouri.
Did you see the scoreboard?
They got rocked.
9,000!!! Thats two graduating class's for your school.
man, you really got some serious venting out
Anyone listening to this after upsetting Texas in Austin?
remmeber when OU bent your team over twice in the same season? also, you remember earlier this week when mizzou lost to iowa state in hoops? HAHA wait until tonight too!!!
who made this up are amazing
this is all about how they though they were gonna win the Mu vs. Ku game (football) and they got owned in that game
FRAKING AWESOME, BRILLIANT WORK, who is singing this anyway???
ladies and gentlemen, the pot calling the kettle black.
ku ku love ku ku baby !
you know what, you are correct!!! ROCK CHALK!!
It might have been funny to see Reesing take a safety...But it was even funnier to see Daniels get in the face of his fellow teammates and go over pout on a chair and cry.
We need a 2022 remake
nope
i'd also like to note that kansas is actually 2-1 against ranked teams, with kstate being in the top25 at the time kansas played them.
Anything with a Nickelback reference screams DOUCHE!!!
2008 was great 2019 -20 even greater
they did, but its always good to see what happens in the games after big ones like that....
yeah, i hear ya. i actually live in saint louis, and all my friends are mizzou fans or grads. uphill battle sometimes
National champs!
Todd Reesing is from Texas...
To bad they didn't win the Big 12 last year but we won the orange bowl and won NCAA championship the same year so not to shabby. Not to mention we get our redemtion today!!! WOO ROCK CHALK!!! Bragging rights for a year!
amen!
long story short- the reason ku came back in the 4th was because mu was playing not to lose instead of their usual o and d schemes.
if you want to play it that way...nebraska was also ranked when mu beat them 41-6
nice video #5
hey, i missed today's mizzou basketball game....oh wait...HAHA
But it is a nice Video. How did that game go for you?
lol really funny great job
classy

@Cards87Fan Just remember who went to the orange bowl that year.
that is the best..go hawks

What do Kansas coach Mark Mangino and former Packer Gilbert Brown have in common? They're both humongous and they both have been associated with the University of Kansas. There must be something in the water in Lawrence?
and still KU has a 11-9 record vs Mu in football past 2 decades. And KU LEADS THE ALLTIME BORDER WAR SERIES IN ALL SPORTS. SO JEALOUS MUCH?
Y'see, Mangino isn't just fat. His torso is an aggressive Texan land owner, eagerly buying up all the property between chin and groin and bulldozing it into one huge, sweeping curve. Oh what, Kansas City? Where they jump on the KU Wagon because that city hasn't been good at anything since 1985?
yea
Were going final four!!!
Ha, Mizzou beat KU's ass last night!
muck fizzou, gosh thats funny. You folks down there in lawrence sure do tell funny jokes.
maybe not, but it is true
I will tell you how Im going to play it..
Tonight we are going to celebrate our orange bowl win...inbetween rocking Mizzous world again in football.

@mizzoufan03 yes and everyone thinks of a perfect place when they think of missouri...
I guess its just blind fanhood
missouri's view point is now tied but the KU records now have kansas up by two since we won at arrowhead this year..KU!!!!!!!!!
I think its time to repost that as
#1 in The BIG 12 + CHAMPS!!!
#1 in the NCAA now thats better math
i agree ith the song part but dud GO KU!
you take wrong because i went to KU and loved them since 4th grade. you know what, every poll didn't matter, those things are a little shaky, especially this football season. and no one told me mizzou was gonna beat kansas, and i live in a pretty decent size chunk of mizzou turf!
What 3rd grader made this video? Oh, a kwho graduate? Sounds about right. GO CATS!!!
i dont think so.
i'm just curious how many BCS games mizzou has won?
MU played 6 games against teams receiving top-25 votes in the final AP poll and went 4-2 vs. those teams. KU played only 2 games vs. such teams and was 1-1. Plus, KU did not finish first in the standings because it goes by conference record and since MU and KU both have 7-1 records and MU holds the tie-breaker, MU would finish ahead of KU.
I take it you didn't pay much attention to football before you hopped on the 11-0 JayHawk Band Wagon.
wait...what? was i insulted or praised?
kansas played a poor bball game saturday night. the only reason kansas entered that football game ahead of them is because they had a better record, most likely. very funny
Too bad this song blew up when they met MIZZOU!
so what on missouri half the players arent from mizzou

u kno my friend only posted this on fb shes a KU fan that lives in missouri but u kno i dont care about this its just i found the part that it says missouri girls are fat? lmfao i am a missouri girl and i found it extremely offensive!
This is so cute...too bad you got your shit handed to you. There's always next year...well, not for KU.
why don't you support your team instead of downing another team?

Rock chalk Jayhawk!
MU can't win a Big 12 championship in basketball or football.
36-28
LMFAO
Good luck in your non-sold out bowl, Sodface. "Winning Big 12 titles"? Umm that's a big negative chief, not even the Big 12 North.
yea, that you don't look at 2girls1 cup the honest!1111!!
Did it for the lulz
