Despite the ups and downs of this patch, including the visual bugs and frame rate drops that have plagued us for nearly a year, this update demonstrates a genuine effort to improve the game, It shows they're really trying to bring this version to a good state. Overall, it was a W patch 🤠
If the next patch were of this same size it would be great, they would fix the scenarios that remain to be optimized since there are many scenarios that look lifeless and without color.
Honestly from where it started, they have definitely improved the game overall. The visuals it can pull off on the Switch blow my mind! Especially since I have no intentions on buying a brand new system for just one game.
The only issues I've had with the expansion so far have been crashes. Strangely, both happened when I was using Noob. One happened after a fight in chapter 21 of the story, and another during the Arcade tower in Towers of Time. I did run into the sound issue you mentioned in a prior video though. It happened to me right when I resumed playing the story after a fresh launch of the game. Very weird.
This bug actually happened a lot during a few seasons ago, I think around Mileena's? Anyways a bit of a bummer some visual glitches remain (some classic ninja skins are still bugged, dark raiden's palettes beyond the main 6 having no expressions, etc.) but nice to see the game is improving on many other aspects.
@@Curlyheart And if you stop to think, still delivers more than we can expect from many (if not all) mobile hardware about the same age, performing good as some low-entry-yet-expensive-and-a-lot-more-power-consuming desktop hardware from the time.

Ok it ain't just me. My sound was fine for a while then it just wasn't; all fighting sfx just disappeared & it's so off-putting smh....already filed a bug report
I reinstalled the game to try to fix the fight sfx & now not only do I not have sound; but it's also reverted to the original pre-Khaos Reigns intro/menu w/ Liu Kang instead of Havik's smfh

Don't be confused with the bundle. It's called "KL Collection", not bundle. If you buy them separately, the base game is $39 and the Chaos Reigns expansion is also $39.

Honestly? Remember the time and effort it must have taken the teem to just actually port the working version of a game that was designed with the PS5 in mind onto a meager device like the Switch! Adding to the production costs of the game on the PS5, you can add at least 30% to 40% more money spent on the Switch version. So production costs were much higher. It's just ridiculous to suggest such a thing. Go take classes in Economic 1.0! And for me it didn't sting. Ever since I purchased it, I spent more than 220 hours on this game. And would really personally like to shake the hands of the development teams, for doing such a great job.
I purchased a Xbox series S about 20 months ago. Never played it.... well, ok that is perhaps a bit wrong.... During 2023 I spent about 40 hours playing games on that thing, but I spent more than 1500 hours playing games on my Switch. I think buying that Xbox was the most useless purchase I've ever made. (It's nothing that worries me, though.... I could get a really high-class gaming PC without problem right now.....) So I gave it as a present to a friend of mine who went through some hard times then..... He lost his job and his gf.... and so he spent most of his times at home. So I thought - it would be the perfect console for him (well, admittedly, a recent PS might be even better, but I''d never touch anything Sony produces even with a 10-foot-pole) And he was really glad about, and he now spends his days in his room for hours playing. As for me am perfectly happy playing this on the Switch - especially since I play more than 90% of my time on the go where the Xbox is useless. And he is happy now, and I am happy too since the Xbox that was absolutely useless for me, now serves a good purpose for him and he enjoys it.
I agree with you there! The whole character design seems so..... *weird* compared to MK11. But that is the problem with all the releases, regardless of the platform! MK11 had better character design, better stage design, better game desing (heck.... I just hate this Cameo thing), I even the fatalities looked better!
I have an Xbox Series X but unfortunately I don't have much time to play at home, so this game is perfect for me on the switch. Maybe you are the poor 🤣
this is urgent i am confused so i swore i had the money brought the dlc khaos reigns my question does the khaos reigns pack download free then you pay for it or what nintendo clams i didn't have the funds on my card but the preorder was on my account i get the new intro instead of the base game intro whats up with it oh and yes when i put my card in i see the gold dragon logo instead of the blue standard

It is in a better state than it was 10 months ago, it is playable on switch
Despite the high file size and the problems with the sound, I'm happy to have some of those fan favorites back.
One thing I noticed was that they are gradually improving the way the blood looks in the game
It's 45gb because they used a new compression technique. It's in the patch notes...
I noticed in the character selection screen, the character textures load faster when highlighting them
I noticed ghost face is on the character select screen but remins locked until he comes out

Audio works with cut scenes and the cut scene fights, however actual gameplay lacks any hit audio

If u use a season 8 dark raiden skin then his audios where he is in pain is replaced by the old raiden voice

my sound is fine. I don't play online . I heard invasions and towers is what breaks the sound so I'm staying offline until patch.

The game became smaller after finishing the installation because NRS reworked the files to improve compression
