The last time we stayed overnight in Nashville, we stayed at The Hilton in Brentwood/Cool Springs. It’s not in downtown Nashville but the hotel is nice, clean, and has a good restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Also has a large lobby with a large bar and comfortable sitting areas. Their popular late night food in the bar area is their French fries. I don’t eat fried food or French fries but once in a while I will do that. They cut their own. By the way, The Stage is one of our favorite places in Nashville. Sorry you weren’t feeling well the next day ! What bands do you recommend in Nashville?
That is a nice area to stay in and it's a much calmer vibe than downtown. I don't know the names of any of the bands, we only go once a year or even every other year. And there's usually a band on every floor of the bars so that is a lot of bands!
Lovely hotel , Nashville I looks so lively, sorry to hear about your stomach bug and even worse when your away..On a funny note “ Honky Tonkers “ 😂Thanks for sharing your trip , how sweet is your husband and daughter.. Your hair is gorgeous Melinda , best wishes🍀
@@LuxPurselove We ate good food! But I want to go for a weekend with my husband and rent a car and see the real Nashville. I’ve been twice but it’s always for meetings and stay in the same area
Love the stage too! I've been to the steakhouse on the top floor of that Marriott hotel. Honestly you're not missing much. Seems more of like a touristy thing, which makes sense.
i just got back from down town Nashville, filthy degusting , never again. we were in Tennessee for 10 days, it rained everyday. Knoxville so much nicer and food is delicious and really clean.
I think I know when you were here, we had quite the rainy spell. Yep downtown is dirty now for sure. That is why locals might only go once a year or every other year and why we only went in one bar. (Plus the $2.50 hotel room is what really got us to go downtown ha ha!) Nashville as a whole has a lot more neat things to do than Knoxville, beautiful gardens, historical places to tour, museums, downtown Franklin is clean and fun, and amazing food as well. You just have to get away from downtown to enjoy it. But Knoxville is neat too, we enjoy it.
Augh, being sick while traveling is the worst! So glad you didn't have to hop on a flight or anything. I've not been to downtown Nashville but it sure does look bustling and popular. Maybe I'm too old but it just looks like migraine city to me at this age!
It is the worst and I was so grateful I didn't have to get on a plane! You are 100% right it is so loud and something we can only do once a year or maybe every two. We listened to 3 songs and we were outta there lol!
I’m glad you were able to at least enjoy one full day. Had no idea how busy Nashville is! It looks like a lot of fun. 💕
Thank you! It is pretty fun! Xoxo
@@kklvoescc Nashville has the best talent when it comes to musicians and singers! The food is also sooo good.
Nashville looks like so much fun! Thanks for taking us along and I’m sorry you got sick! 😢
It was fun the first day! :)
Wow, that pool is Super Duper Cool. Now, for $2.50, I can afford that. 😁 So sorry you didn't feel well at the end of your staycation.💛
It really is a cool pool! Can't beat $2.50! :)
Looks fun❤😊
It was, until it wasn't lol! Xoxo
@@LuxPurselove true!
The hotel looks beautiful and I like your hair curly 👍🏾
Thank you so much 🤗
Fabulousness! Love Kid Rock! $2.50 wow!! Sick! That’s terrible, so sorry! 😢
It was so fun, until it wasn't! Thank you!
It's like vegas in Tennessee.
They don't call it Nashvegas for nothing lol.

Thank you Margaret! Honkey Tonking is so funny, I learned that from the movie Coal Miner's Daughter lol. Best wishes to you too my dear! Xoxo
I was just there two weeks ago for a work meeting. We stayed at the Union Station.
Hope you had some fun too!

That does make sense, we've never had a big desire to go. The Stage is so fun!

It's a shame that the restaurant wasn't any good because the hotel looks lovely. I'm glad that you recovered from your stomach bug relatively quickly.
It really is. Thank you, I am glad it didn't last too long.
