Yeah, nowhere near that easy I have many spots that the paint will not come off. I don’t know why you guys pretended it. Just comes right off. It’s frustrating.
Maybe the ceiling in the clip only had a light coat of paint? Mine is like yours. There is zero chance it will scrape off like in the video. Even a sharp paint scraper doesn't do what the clip showed. I'm resorting to using a sander.
Good information, thanks for sharing. Going to have to do this to a painted ceiling in the near future.
Glad it was helpful!
That comes off like unpainted popcorn. Painted popcorn tends to be MUCH more difficult.
This was painted, but probably with one coat of ceiling paint. Multiple coats or wall paint would make it harder.
Will the moisture create mold on the ceiling?
No, because it will only be damp for minutes while you are scraping it off. Any left over moisture will dry out fast. Thanks for your question.
Great informative video. Thank you. 👍

Ingenious 😊
Thanks, just make sure to wear at least an N95 mask and glasses when you remove it.

Are you suggesting that I am lying in this video?

Not that easy if painted.
No it's not. That's why this one took a while.
