- A journey by train from Ystad in southern Sweden to Jämtland and Åre in northern Sweden. A birthday trip because I turned 40. It was autumn, shining landscape, wonderful weather, fresh and clear. Åre is mainly known for skiing, but the location is wonderful all year round. Magically.
