Then they realised the amount of money they could squeeze out of a faithful fanbase by selling OP tanks at an absurd price through greedy events/really hard-to-grind events. The worst part? They continue to push the lines because by gradually pushing said lines they only get some backlash while a large majority of paying players still pay. Imagene if the trading caravan event in it’s current date and state (as in, the date it was released just after the black market) was released 5 or more years ago, It would have been a crusade! Also, sorry for just unloading all of that on you, i didn’t know what better way to say all of that as i’m on a phone and can’t edit comments
I found myself enjoying the T7 tank of this branch a lot, the Tier 8, I enjoyed, but, not as much as the T7 due to the fact that I found that more people spam gold rounds in those battles as opposed to when I played the T7. I HATE the T9 tank. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to side scrape reliably, and the turrets have very easy to hit and pen weak spots. The 105 is the only good thing about the T9 tank in my opinion so far. But, from what I've seen of the T10 tank, I think I'll enjoy it a lot. Edit: Forgot about the T6. I was disappointed in it. But, I don't hate it, unlike the T9.
The M-V in blitz is the tier 9 while the M-VI is the tier 10. The opposite is true of PC. Both have 2 and 3 shot autoloaders in blitz but cyclical guns in PC

im also in love with the MVY. im an around average player or slightly lower, and some tank playstyles just dont work for me at my skill level. something about this tank is the perfect mix of what suits me best, ive been playing super consistently and far better than I do in something like an E5 or Progetto
If you're gonna play aggressively, make sure you use vstab. His kill shot on the Leo wasnt a snapshot as he described it, he was pre aimed and shot a fully aimed shot. Lots of mistakes were made in this video but this tank with turbo, rammer and vstab with the stock gun is amazing. Even great players im battling in front of me knows when to relocate after I dish my 2nd shot of dmg lol. Protect your lower/upper hull at all times. I get pissed when I score below 4k dmg in a battle with this tank 😆
QB, I want to say you've done it before, but could you do a top 10 of tanks to play for a profit that aren't premium. Or in other words, tanks that don't absolutely require gold all the time while also being effective. I know its likely a short list, but would love to see it as a mostly free to play player. Thank you in advance.

Interesting. I've found that it's just about the only tier 10 that I can make money in without too much trouble. I just hate using the tank because it gets penned everywhere. I'm surprised the people he fought never shot the raised part of the hull that has no armor. Also, the lower plate on the Yoh tank is vastly worse than the SConq. I don't think anyone has ever bounced a shot on it from any angle in any game I've played.
There isn't. This design can't even physically work. All the Yoh tanks are absurd if you think about them for more than 10 seconds which is why they went nowhere.
I know this isn’t a realistic tank in any way whatsoever nor that the design would work at all, but i still like to think that it might have been intended to be like that… though, admittedly you could try to shoot the tank to figure out where wg put the ammo hitbox in
i do not understand this tank, whats making the turret move up and down? are their motors in the hinges? the two very shoot-able hinges? how is the turret not getting knocked off each battle, and is the gunner in a seperate little pod to the rest of the crew? how do they communicate, when the gunner dies and we 'cover for him' how are you getting up there?
It's a shame I can't get the 105 to work on it. Played 15 games and barely averaged 2k. The gun just would not hit what I was aiming at, and for reference I average 3.2k on other tanks. 120 works better for me, but the best part for me is those thick tracks that can bait shells and even if you lose them you can keep moving. I really feel the extra track isn't for getting out of harm's way when tracked in the open, it's for baiting shots into your tracks and then pop out to take a shot while repairing it
My kind of Tank is the OBJ.277 Overall stat combo, way better armor than WZ-111 5A and you don't give too much up compared to the IS-7 in Gunhandling and setup for mobility. VZ-55 is good, but because of the Autoloader too situational for me. Gotta try grind the Leopard 1 more, last test I had after ten battles 10 wins and two ace tankers. I love going medium line in a heavy or TD, thats my thing in WoT. From my short Testserver expirience, the M-V-Y is way too strong imo, simply because it's Meta. On my main account (not test) I got 7000WTR monthly currently.
For anyone that doesn't know, you can penetrate t95 frontally with your standard shells right between tracks and end up tracking it as well. It's not 100% pen but you can do it usually with most of tier 9 and some of the tier 8 tanks too.

I would like to know if WG would ever do a cost of a shot info update, ie if the M-IV standard rounds cost 1000 credits per shot, what is the credit inflow/outflow of that round. it is excessively nerdy... but it is something that interests me. Maybe it could help some people play non premiums and still make a bit of coin, no idea....

I'm still dislike how there wasn't a Test server for these tanks. I think the new mechanic isn't that broken but it's still stupid. Just feel that this thing is another flavor of the month and in a few months there's something even better. The Kranvagn isn't flavor of the month because it's what it is for around a year now. The VZ55 was the flavor of the month, now it's this. The weakpoint is just insanely small
M-V-Y is stand's for Medium five Yoh not Heavy tank it should be (H-V-Y) instead. HL YOH company never intended to build Heavy tanks because it's to expensive and lots of research. as QB said it's a medium heavy to perform like M48A5 Patton.
The M-VI-Y has a shockingly bad armour layout for its intended role. It really works better a brawler, using its track mechanic to effectively return fire on reloading enemies. I’ve not reached the M-V-Y yet, but it looks a lot more powerful in its comparative tier.
Hi, I would recommend a mod, perfect for people who often shoot a tank that died a milisecond ago, it is in the Aslain's modpack and it's called (rather logically) block shooting wrecks. It saved a few of my close games by saving the shell. P.S. It is not an ad neither am I a bot. I saw QB shoot the Jagdtiger in the moment he died and want to help people avoid those situations. Enjoy ;)
I do not have the luck QB has in this tank. In my opinion it's 110% a POS. Weak hull, weak gun, not fast, it's somehow an arty magnet as well. Just hasn't been fun to play and I won't play it much if ever because it's a stat KILLER.
Hardly. This tank gets wrecked on ridge lines because the top of the turret is trash. Heck, the hull is raised in the front and back on the tank where the turret ring is. That part of the hull is easily penned by most tanks in tier 10 and it allows people to be able to shoot the rear of the tank from the front. Frick, but he slightly to the side of this Yoh tank and shoot the side holding the turret up. It's basically an auto-pen.
tbh I would not congratulate WG at all on this tank. Because it’s a heavy tank with the lowest alpha in the game, it really needs the American 340 HEAT.

the T6 gun depression is absolute trash. The armor is not reliable as well, got pen by most of the gold rounds.

On mobile this thing is a broken tier 9 that can get either a 3 shot 105mm autoloader with good dpm or a 2 shot 120mm super shotgun.

This tank is a physical impossibility. No room in turret for ammo, crew and mechanicals to oscillate the turret. It's just a complete joke.
