I was here with no expectations, but I'm happy that we are thinking beyond, Romance, Action, Thriller. Not a Ranbir Fan, but this looks promising.
Quiet impressed by the level of VFX and animation. Something I've been wanting from Indian directors for a long time. Being an otaku myself, it's great to see bollywood giving importance to those stuffs which used to fall and be identified under "KIDS" category. Also I'm glad, that they chose something unique (not typically rendering any idea or making any remake) to execute this movie with. I'll be even more happy if this movie consisits
1. An interesting story line
2. Focusing on the main plot (for eg: if this is about something related to Indian mythology, then to stay focused and not just shifting attention to any side topics (for eg: romance) and making it the main
3. Character development, importance to every character and their development rather than focusing only on the MCs
4. Maybe focusing on some unexpected twists and turns
5. Lastly, a "CLIFFHANGER" at the end of the first part, so that everyone get's excited for the next
BONUS:- Maybe, try and making the next part even better than the first one, and keep up the hype or increase it...exicited for the movie DisneyPlus Hotstar!!

Ayan Mukherjee said that it is also a love story. It is a trilogy and the first part of named as Brahmastra Part 1: Love. But they changed it to Part 1 Shiva. I am so excited about this movie. I have always believed that India is a land stories and always wondered why we don't do anything related to our scriptures. I am glad we are finally taking a leap of faith. I will definitely watch this film.

Absolutely. High budget Bollywood movies now have tough competition for this level of CGI and VFX. This is a good thing because it will make Bollywood innovate with better CGI and VFX and give more importance to the story and dialogues than just typical masala movies.
