I think that mimic will actually appear during perplexplore, as you said, and Spurrit may discover mimic on the Fire Oasis as gobbleygourd so this theory is possibly the best we can get to knowing Mimic’s location and outcome.

But this would be the perfect time to have a Natural Expansion, with one extra Natural Monster going on the Fire and Magical Islands.
Also, for egg tranzgta or whatever it called, we might get an epic seasonal for whizbang. As blabbit has already an epic and rare, when for season of love, we got rare booqwurm because we didn’t get a new seasonal cause of schmoochle already having a rare or epic.
epic wizbang comes in sky painting, we didnt get an epic seasonal in season of love because epic smoochle has existed for a while. they release the rare for the aux seasonals half a year after their seasonal events and the epics are coming exactly one year after the first seasonal event.
Maulch or zuuker definitely fits echoes of eco. I don’t see mimic going to every natural island at all though. I think it’d be cool if the shadow quad made a whisper sound that adds buildup in the song, kinda like the colossals

Where the 5 natural islands will get their respective quint added, those being Gnarls on Plant, Tuskski on Cold, Mimic on Air, Bowhead on Water, and Drummidary on Earth. At that point Candelavra would be the only quint that isn't on 3 islands in the main game, as Gnarls/Tuskski/Bowhead/Drummidary would be on Amber, their natural islands, and their magical islands. Mimic would be on Fire Oasis (potentially), Air island, and Gold island (as it's a natural monster, so it belongs on there). Meanwhile Candelavra is only on Haven & Amber. So maybe Candelavra could go somewhere else too then, but it's tough to point out where without taking up another island with another quint there (unless they just decide Oasis can have two, that being Mimic and Candelavra). Just a theory though, and a wall of text. Mimic could show up in any way.
Wow, your comment is basically my entire MSM wishlist! I really want the remaining five quints to be on their respective islands too, like Candelavra is. To my knowledge, Magical Sanctum is the only island left in the base game with the original formula (four single element monsters that you breed to get all their possible combinations) so if Mimic got on Fire Oasis, then I think Candelavra being on Magical Sanctum would be cool, that way each quint gets to be used twice. I’d say the Rare Wublin is Maulch this time. Echoes of Eco is based on Earth Day and Arbor Day, Epic Viveine will obviously be Arbor Day themed but I guess they’ll give us Rare Maulch and theme it after Earth Day, it only makes sense
I’m not holding my breath on any big surprises during Echoes of Eco. I’m expecting Workshop, probably a rare Wublin, epic Viveine, and the new costumes/decorations. Perplexplore, however, is another story. I’m confident we’ll get the new map. The Monster Handlers said Nexus was the last island we’ll get before the new map, and we’ll probably get a new island during Anniversary Month (once Workshop is finished). Plus, what better time than Perplexplore? I mean heck, Rare Spurrit brought in the map during for Fire Expansion. It’d make sense for Epic Spurrit to reveal the finalized map. I’m also predicting (with less confidence) that we’ll get Fire Oasis Wubbox. I’m thinking we’ll get Fire _Haven_ Epic Wubbox during Feast-Ember, so maybe they’ll add all three Wubbox on Oasis soon too. If not that, Mimic makes sense too.
It wont happen, since the shugafam represent the original song the island is based on, and the singing monsters are the new additions they made (besides from shuga vox scat singing). There wont be new shugafam members.
I said this many times but at least in my case, rare pixolotl has been leaked in my wublin island monster book as a point on the opposite side of normal pixolotl between rare tympa and rare long tongue
I think it would be cool if mimic was on 3 Islands oasis, gold, and amber the first two are self-explanatory but I think it would be cool for it to be on amber because it's also a prehistoric monster and that's what all of the amber Island monsters are so it would make a lot of sense and yes i know it's not a fire monster but neither is Vivienne so that my only argument for it being a nonfire on amber but it would also just make sense for it to be there as all the others dawn of fire monsters are there as well
What if its on all natural islands, gold island, and fire oasis? Its a natural, and a quint, so it would makes sense to put them on all natural islands and gold island. And fire oasis is the only fire island missing a quint, so mimic would fit in.

Rare Gnarls will most likely release during the Beat Hereafter, as the rare quints release in their respective fire expansion islands seasonal events, as seen with Rare Candelavra (Feastember) and Rare Tuskski (Cloverspell) 😊
My idea: the only island in the game with all 5 natural elements AND a breeding structure is Shugabush island... of which will add Epic Viveine, so its the perfect time to do so. Mimic would thus be bred with Pompom and Oaktopus on that island, and probably harmonize with Shugavox.
Surely we'll get a rare gnarls cause think about it tuskski came out a year ago during cloverspell and this cloverspell he got a rare, gnarls came out a "year" ago during the last echos of eco with the completion of amber island so it would only make sense in my opinion that it gets a rare this event

Echoes of eco is all about preservation, and i think real axolotls are actually endangered so it could be fitting for pixolotl to be the rare wublin
