I usually don’t comment on youtube videos but I been playing the game since it came out and haven’t got into rank seriously until about a year ago I finally made it to diamond and considering aiming for masters but I have to honestly thank you personally. I have watched alot of your content along with a couple of other “sources” I trust and I can say if it wasn’t for you guys like you drilling these kind of videos into my head I wouldn’t even think diamond is possible as a console and controller player some of my friends see me as the ultimate sweat but tbh I dont feel like it I just feel like im a person who really enjoyed the game and wanted to get better.
“Note” if I make it to masters im definitely going to consider playing this competitive. I watch alot of it and I wanna see where my ceiling is because I dont think I scratched the surface yet.

on the armor swapping bit, remember to change your settings. i forget what its called but theres a setting where its defaulted to kick you out of a deathbox or the crafter if you're getting shot at. you can turn it off so it wont bump you off while trying to shield swap mid fight.
Your videos are awesome. How do you know when to heal in battles?
If you're low and you have some time, heal. Always be healin basically, unless you're fighting with you're teammates 2v1 or 3v1 you can probably challenge without fully healing.
@MangosInTrees I think he's more specifically asking what signifies you have time to heal vs no time to heal and be aggressive.

Volt mastiff combo is actually working out well in plat ranked lobbies. I wouldn’t use a car and R99 together tho however I feel like the volt is slept on with the mid range potential. If your recoil control is good that is
depending on a mastiff that hits for 60 at most won’t work for long if you plan on advancing to diamond
I disagree with the volt being slept on with mid range, that's one of the main reasons why everyone's uses it, I think people prefer a weapon thats long ranged while playing well with mid - short range. That's cool that you're succeeding with the volt tho
What you on? That 99 & Car combo got me many wins that came wit 10+ kills, Volt has always been my first love along wit that 301 before I got use to the 99 & other guns, I love the 301 but I'll take a Volt, 99 or Car over it any day, TTK is way better & you can one clip someone quicker before you miss that last bullet to down them, I love the 301 but it's what I call a dead gun early on, 18 rounds gets me killed so much, a dead gun is a gun that will get you killed, if you don't have at least a blue mag, forget it, I never really go for it but do to the fact that people this season don't seem to die when ever you put two purple mags into them & hit all shots, I'm now tryna stay away & pick them off at a distance so I won't beam them up but get dropped by one shot, they need to fix that.

To the point of “know what each legend can do” you’d be surprised how many kills my squad gets because people run and touch newcastles ult, trying to push it in a doorway, and then they get that stun that slows them

About training armor swaps, I don't remember if it's a thing in kovaaks or it's own little game on steam but somebody made a tool for practicing quickly grabbing armor out of a box

True, but when you find one make sure to inv them to a party, get a few games out of them and you'll get some great games and possibly a W

playerbase on steam is still pretty good compared to previous year but yes season 15 hasn't grown like many would of thought.

Remember guys it's ok to make mistakes, don't hate others for it we aren't perfect. But try to learn what could have helped yourself or your team it is a fun thing to improve by seeing less and less mistakes being made but there still will always be a way to learn

Please define and/or provide examples of "repeeking" (mistake #7). Is it something else than sticking one's head out once gone behind cover? (non-native English speaker here)
It's more or less going back into the fight when you have time to heal. For example, in the Caustic clip he showed, he had all the time in the world to complete that heal, but the enemy run out, when he should have also been healing, which means that he re-peeked. Our youtuber then proceeded to act on this and re-peeked, one tapping the guy as he ran for a flank he did not have enough health to act on
Edit: this is not exclusively healing, but rather whenever you find cover and gunfire exchanges stop for a moment. Reloading, gas trap placing, tactical usage and of course, healing are all feasibly things you could suddenly forgo and rush the enemy when you are still not ready to keep fighting, and can either lead to a decisive win, or a stupid loss, depending on the circumstances of the fight.

I already know all of this, most of this stuff is common sense & you learn in-game from your mistakes, if your not a brainless Octane in real life of course🤷🏿♂️ I communicate wit my squad always but they never listen & even when I ask how much people are there after they get knocked, they don't even say anything when I hear them breathing on their mic, or they say "that's bs" as soon as they die but won't answer no questions you have but got nerves to be mad when you lose a fight all cause you down two people but lose to the 3rd who was hiding in a corner waiting for you to walk by who's the same guy who downed your teammate 🤣

"Apex is a team game" tell that to literally all 100% of the randoms I play wit🤦🏿♂️ whenever we play on world's edge & land at staging, I try to get my teammates some shiels & some guns early on. I am the one who presses the button for them to get the Shields & everything, I give up the purple shield & the first pick on guns, just to make sure my teammates are good because I know I'm capable of winning a fight with any gun & shield while my teammates are trash, I haven't played a game where someone is better than me since I started playing this game, crazy thing is my teammates don't even listen, they just hot drop & die instantly & when I say, why didn't you just listen to me & get the shields, they usually respond with something like: "Shut the fuck up" or just quit instantly(something has to be done about this, reporting does nothing, every game I'm reporting teammates) it's gotten to the point where now I don't even play world's edge anymore, because either you will need to land at fragment the moment you drop in the game or have to rotate there late in the game & my team never listens or works together, teamwork in this game is very important but it's even more critical in fragment because half of the lobby lands there & all they do is third-party & even work with other teams to kill you, the toxicity & anti teamwork from my randoms paired with lobby's dying so quick anymore is why Apex is on its last legs to me before I uninstall this game for good. If they don't increase the number of players in the game in the next to seasons, it will be time for me to hang up my favorite PVP game, it's hard finding people that play this game often & if they do they have a squad & will only play with you until they're squad gets on which is a few games.

Upon Watching....I can confidently say I do not do number 4.
I play Wraith - Most often I use my portal for saving a downed teammate (might happen once per game) instead of using it to take space my team otherwise wouldnt have access to until dealing some damage.
I use my passive fairly often. I'm quite aware as a player, constantly looking around and using my map for potential choke points and positions to hold on ring movements but Broken Moon is a big map with a lot of space so often my passive triggers long before a fight starts. This isnt so helpful for me as much as it is for alerting my teammates that we are not alone so they should stop looting.
My phase I do use often, sometimes multiple times per fight for free distance when I'm almost cracked.

50? Nah, been in some before but it's still different. Also, keep in mind different people watch the videos. It's rare to have the same people always watching. Unfortunately I covered all of the changes already from this Season (which weren't very many). I still do coaching and see mistakes and see them daily in matches too so I'm gonna keep sharing my perspective.

Love your channel, but don't you feel like you copy/paste/recycle the same video every few weeks?
Is the gameplay the same? Are the talking points the same? I mean last week I ranked the legends from boring to fun. Before that I made a video on how to drop your first 4k & 20 badges. I don't copy and paste anything. Apex released a new season without changing any of the legends and made a couple small tweaks to weapons. Viewership and interest in waning, people don't seem to care about the new map or the new legend. I appreciate the support but there's nothing I can do here when the interest in my content is essentially at the whim of what EA and Respawn do with the game.

It's mainly for the new players or people who've never heard of these tips, facts, and so on. I hear you though, EA or respawn should try something new with this game that'll feel fresh again
