I watched this show in the US on PBS all the time. Most of it went over my head, but it's so great now as an adult. It’s really unique how varied the show is, mixing stand-up monologue, sketch comedy, and conventional sitcom. And those pre-recorded expos of Red’s inventions with sarcastic VO. Each one is clever, too; an invention is explained, demoed, and fails as a chaotic Rube Goldberg. And someone has to really build that stuff, in a way that will genuinely do what it's supposed to at first. They put a lot of work into a show that pretends it’s thrown together.
Had seen this show come up on my recommended list for ages and figured it was some leftie greenie rubbish until I watched the short clip putting the tractor wheels on the Honda. So glad that I did, this is great.
What I love about reds wierd ass contraptions and machines he builds.. is that with a few tweaks they could easily work irl... Idk why this man never became an inventor. He certainly has the brains, and intelligence.. and out of the box way of thinking you need for it.
Ranger Gord is my second favorite character thanks to his earnest goofy nature and his animated segments. My favorite character is probably Mike since i grew up around of lovable rouges like him.
Red Green Tour 2013!!! Saw the ads for it on the TV the other day, well I just bought two tickets for the first show in Surrey BC and decided while I am at it I might as well buy the complete DVD collection.
one of the funniest shows I have seen, saw this on PBS I think, one of three channels my old TV antennae could pick up, used to har har all the time to this show.
Ranger "Gord Ranger" is funny as heck. He was stuck up there for many years and has gone insane. I love his cartoons!!! And The reason he goes by Ranger Gord instead of Ranger Ranger (last name like Ranger Smith) would be silly. RIP Mike Hammar (The actor).
D. C. S. I started watching this show from episode one back when it first aired it’s always had something special and funny and watching ranger gord slowly crack over the years has to be one of the more oddly funny parts to the show but he was already pretty bad when it started 😂 i always thought he was a funny part of the show
"Magnetic Hill"; I actually saw a "Gravity Hill" segment on the old "That's Incredible!" show. It was an optical illusion; one traveled downhill to a stop sign, where the road beyond looks like it's going uphill, but it's really just a shallower downhill.
I love this show! I like that this season Red's inventions actually work and I agree with other comments that the forklift idea was smart. The only thing I don't care for so much is the Ranger Gord cartoons. But the rare times those occur I just skip them.
there's spots you can go to (all over the place, actually) where for whatever reason, it will appear as though there is a slight upgrade, but in fact, if you roll a ball towards the crest, the ball will go up the "hill". look up "magnetic hills near me" in google.
"If women don't find you sexy they should at least find you handy" got me one night stand right after I fixed a VCR for a couple of college girls in 1996.
Derpy Pedro either the cost of living is sky high in your area or im moving to Texas. If gas station attendants make $17/hr then I’ll be rich in my profession (well north of $30/hr).
Out of EVERYONE in the show I've somehow started acting like harold..an my GF doesnt care..but also I swear ranger Gord has the best jokes..could be cause his character is supposed to be clueless an borderline stupid
8:29 I am glad that I was a apple that didn't fall to far away from the because my dad is still my favorite person not only did I look up to him growing up but he taught me how to do physical labor
You sure? I'm pretty sure this is the guy that played the lazy Port Asbestos marina operator Dwight in later seasons... the lazy possum lake marina operator from earlier seasons was the RV obsessed guy.
I know, some of the inventions are actually not that far fetched. Like the time Red made the catamaran out of heating ducts or the time he made the tobaggan lift out of two tobaggans and a frozen turkey.
I ran across this show because I was bored and now I'm hooked. Some of the earlier episodes you know you can tell they are earlier episodes because reds beard isn't all white loke it is in later episodes, those earlier episodes aren't as funny as all the later ones . Red green is hilarious. It took the a bit to really find its groove but once they did wow I wish there were more episodes.

my dad just passed away n this was one of his favorite show...brings back soo many good memories :)
My father also
mine aswell... it's good to live out the nostalgia and the memories
🤩
He had good taste, RIP.
The Red Green Show was 1 of the greatest things to come from the 90s. It was must see TV in my house. My Dad loved this guy !
Red Green was one of the BEST shows on television. It was good clean fun, heartwarming, and family friendly. 🤣📺👍

totally agree, what a show.
I used to stay up late as a kid to watch this show on PBS! watching it here in 2019 and damn it- it holds up!
I absolutely love this show & I Thank MY uncle & DAD & Aunt 4 introducing, laughter( aka best medicine on this green planet)
This is the exact and precise episode. That made me fall in love with Red green
Every weekend me and my granddaughter would watch. Redgreen
I forgot how many “the wife” jokes were made in this show.. still iconic.
I remember watching this every morning when our family didn't have cable...good times
when I didnt have cable i also watched this show every night
this whole show 10 out of 10
Since installing my own toy dog on a copper pipe I have yet to be chased by any dogs. Shit works!
Still working?
Nice

Steve Smith does have an engineering degree
@@ianfinrir8724 wouldn't be surprised at all.
I love this show so much.
*****
Ever since I was a kid
Did not expect to see protomario in the comments section of Red Green.
I went through a pipe warp watching these, as once I did in past days. Wario told me to tell you that.
Ranger Gord is my favorite. He's such a funny actor.

And don't forget Hap too! All of the actors on the show are terrific. I especially liked Ranger Gord's animated adventures, total genius!
If it was possible, I would sacrifice Honey Boo Boo without hesitation if we could get Red Green back
ok boomer
David Lancaster so original
That's not even a comparison
@@boots108 wait kids watch this show because only kids say ok boomer
It is possible now-thanks to TH-cam!
thank you Red Green. I love you.
We appreciate the love!

My boss told me about this show. Omg this is hilarious.
You had an awesome boss.
Red Green Tour 2013!!! Saw the ads for it on the TV the other day, well I just bought two tickets for the first show in Surrey BC and decided while I am at it I might as well buy the complete DVD collection.
I saw Red Green at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati two years ago!
My son and I loved this show. Great memories together.
one of the funniest shows I have seen, saw this on PBS I think, one of three channels my old TV antennae could pick up, used to har har all the time to this show.
I luv this show, my youngest daughter and me watched on PBS every weekend I was home. OMG just play dead!
All gold!! Great show
Love this program, Thanks You Tube!
Really wish Red Green was still on the air. I miss those wacky guys from possum lodge.
Too many politically correct asswipes these days, wouldn't last long

Gord is boring as all get out. And it's Mike Hamar.

Wish this show was still around
The pay off for the angel joke was so worth it
This was a GREAT show!
Everyone needs a red green in their life. If for nothing else, the duct tape supply.
"Magnetic Hill"; I actually saw a "Gravity Hill" segment on the old "That's Incredible!" show. It was an optical illusion; one traveled downhill to a stop sign, where the road beyond looks like it's going uphill, but it's really just a shallower downhill.
i would sacrifice all of mtv and every single reality show ever conceived for one more episode
.. .. .. .. .. ..
Except for Duck Dynasty cuz that one was pretty great. But every other one would be worth sacrificing.
wow. the forklift is actually freakin genius
Quality comedy every time
I love it when a play on words turns a lie into the truth!
Clever and crafty inventions
12:02 Oh, Lord! It's Ranger Gord!
Like father like son... and in most cases that's a pretty scary thought XD! I love this episode though most because Ranger Gord talks about Sasquatch.
The best!! Sunday at 1130 pm.. bring it baaaaaack!!
I believe that our angel is Dwight ain't he? I think that was his name. He came along a season or 2 later. I love how lazy he is!
I love this show! I like that this season Red's inventions actually work and I agree with other comments that the forklift idea was smart. The only thing I don't care for so much is the Ranger Gord cartoons. But the rare times those occur I just skip them.

That forklift was great
Keep making your video’s again and again please
Dwight's first appearance!
This show raised me.
Me too!
So that's what happened to you
This is real TV america!
Canada.
I'm surprised a pair of skis can hold that much weight.
"If women don't find you sexy they should at least find you handy" got me one night stand right after I fixed a VCR for a couple of college girls in 1996.
That fake dog trick is incredible!
great memories
Watching this in the year 2019, from the USA, 20 years after it was broadcast. Interesting to note the gas station attendant was making $8.00 an hour.
I make that now delivering pizza
20 years ago minimum wage was $5.15 an hour. $8 an hour wasn’t bad for a gas station job.
$8 dollars Canadian
The area I work at in Texas the attendants start out at $17
Derpy Pedro either the cost of living is sky high in your area or im moving to Texas. If gas station attendants make $17/hr then I’ll be rich in my profession (well north of $30/hr).
I wouldnt even need red green back but it would make an amazing bonus
A homemade forklift? I neve would have thought of that
I would've asked the angel to deliver a Victoria Secret model wife for Harold. No that would be a miracle.
That ladder/forklift actually looks like it'd work.🤔
Quite a few of them would.
Red Green is awesome
Truly amazing and talented, I love this show! Truly the best :)

The "Angel" in the this episode is the same guy who played the lazy possum lake marina operator in the earlier seasons.
You sure? I'm pretty sure this is the guy that played the lazy Port Asbestos marina operator Dwight in later seasons... the lazy possum lake marina operator from earlier seasons was the RV obsessed guy.
+Christopher Szynkowski i meant to say later
Dwight replaced Glenn Braxton for a few seasons.
Awestm11, I'd sacrifice those things even if Red Green didn't exist. A pox on their houses!
I know, some of the inventions are actually not that far fetched.
Like the time Red made the catamaran out of heating ducts or the time he made the tobaggan lift out of two tobaggans and a frozen turkey.
Franco? That was the guy who worked at the marina. Guess he decided to finally get up and work lol
This episode was before he was cast as Dwight.

Having a Canadian girlfriend bought me here,, Why was this show not shown in the UK
Wish they would put this back on channel 11
Haha love this show
Good stuff !
Sweet, I think I have Red's truck, its an '88 Chevy Cheyenne, same color too!
each episode is guarantee to give you a good laugh ,,,maybe not the entire 22 minutes ,but close to 18 .
Lets give it a shot anyway. We have nothing to lose.
I would sacrifice Honey Boo Boo for a nickel.
If you're ever up for a little drive, I'd go check out Pierce wildlife and forest reservation or Low state forest too
20:24 pure Angel Gold
U people can say what u want but this is the best show ever please reply red green
Love that audience pop at 1:19 lmao

2:14 It's Time to play that Possum lodge word game
After 15 years and 300 shows. He was probably getting worn down.
Effing right Gavin Crawford young as ever! Because News is my shiit!
