I had the pleasure of meeting Chase Elliot before he had made the move to the xfinity series and the monster cup series racing his dad at kingston in alabama after the race was over got to go down and meet bill and chase elliot both of them are class acts love seeing him racing that number 9 as well

For the longest time, the Busch Series and its predecessor the Late Model Sportsman Series filled that void for Cup drivers. NASCAR is currently trying to find ways to cut costs for teams. How about we get rid of Friday practices. Instead, NASCAR can sanction a late model feature at a nearby short track that Friday instead and have it open to everyone with a car. Cup Series drivers, Xfinity Series, trucks, ARCA, USAR, PASS, etc. No points, just prize money. I think the drivers would love it, the tracks and their communities would certainly love it.

I need to say this. I was never a huge NASCAR fan, therefore nor was I ever a Dale Earnhardt or Jr. fan. I always preferred Indy Car/F1/ open wheel racing, and have followed these series for a good 40 years. That said, I've watched a lot of these videos and I think they are very well put together. The topics are intriguing and interesting, and I'm finding Jr. and his family and friends to be extremely likable people. Kudos to Jr. and his staff and crew for putting together some excellent content. Well done!

As a fan I wish Chase could recreate what Bill and Ernie had as somewhat outsiders taking NASCAR by storm but as a fan I know that is not possible today and I am happy to cheer for Chase however he can succeed. Same goes for any next generation driver be it an Elliott, Earnhardt, or Blaney. I think I picked up that sentiment from Adam Petty and my own family farm. The next generation wanting to carry it in is a very proud situation

40 races is a lot? hell from 05-07 I was running 3 different tracks a week, from May to September Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and in 06 I was running 2 classes on Sunday get out of one car hop in anotherfrom the age of 15-17 i was running 80+ races a season
