there was no "gms" folder at that location in my corel x3 installation. creating the folder and putting the files in it did not work (they did not appear in corel draw). the auto-installer also did not work. finally, i found that you have to install "vba for applications" directly from the corel cd (by running the vba.msi file manually - the installer had vba enabled but it was not installed). this finally created the gms folder and showed the macros in corel draw. roland should include this information it its manuals, since some people do not have vba installed.
I can't say this worked or didn't work. I have a new version 2021 and was trying to get it to work with my other program, but while doing all these things and messing with the other things, I got it to work. I don't have a macro in my corel but I do have the export in my other program now. Who knows with all the different things. I figure locating stuff in my programs is not a bad thing so it didn't hurt.
Thank you this gives me hope. I recently purchased CD2021 since it's the only version of coreldraw available to purchase outright. Older versions are no longer available. The old version X4 I was using doesn't load on newer Operating systems.
I tried this with Corel Draw X6 and my Cutstudio install disk into windows 10. I can get the little box to the right with the R on it but when I click on it, it doesn't do anything.
In Commands, when I click on the dropdown [File] the list does not include [Macros] as shown in video @ 2:21mins. So I am unable to continue with the instruction. Can you help?

Note that *this is still true for Corel 2024.* VBA for applications is not installed by default, but *_needs_* to be installed for the macros to work.
