That's why I think.
Physical Trailblazer is competitive against Dan Heng, Herta and Serval, the only DPS you're guaranteed to get in the early game.
Fire Trailblazer is in turn competitive with March 7th and Natasha, the only sustain units you'll have in the early game.
But at this point imaginary trailblazer needed to be really strong to find a place against Bronya, Sparkle, Ruan Mei and Robin.
@@jeffulloa218 It's true! Hell, even I still use Preservation MC as I see fit, and with all these Harmony characters we're getting, it's not actually far-fetched to build Destruction MC, if not necessary, just for the sake of fun.
Meanwhile Aether is on fraud watch after getting wiped by Arle
@jeffulloa218 not just that, from a game design stand point, destruction tb is just well designed. Yeah he fails at being relevant late game, but before that's a relevant issue, destruction tb provides a character that works well with nearly any team comp and doesn't require specific synergies and builds to be viable (a poorly built tb isn't that bad until mid level SUs, a poorly built Seele struggles in the overworld, even if the latter was a better dps.) AND tb destruction shows much of the mechanics fairly well. Other than sustain, support, fua, dot, tbd does everything.

Whole kit is garbage from the get go
a fun little quirk is that HMC ult can still be active during Svarog's restraint move, and bc they are restrained, it does not count as a turn lost. Svarog ended up letting me keep up my super breaks until he died bc of that LOL.

This is a thing with a lot of characters. Robin and Ruan Mei buffs, Fu Xuan matrix, and a few more.
One Synergy with Harmony MC that I’ve seen insane success with is Misha. He applies anywhere from 11-15 points of Toughness Damage with his Ultimate, assuming Full Stacks at least, leading to his Super Break Damage being absolutely insane. Also as an extra cherry on top of the amazing Synergy between those two, thanks to Harmony MC Misha can now actually use his signature Light cone Indelible Promise extremely effectively since now Misha himself actually wants the break effect 👀
So Misha better than Xueyi now?

@@drunkvader If we truly sticking with the theme of the game I would say go crazy and have the MC unlock the Trailblazer Path at the ending of the game and be the only character to have that Path.
They've finally made break effect good after we've discarded all them break effect pieces
My first Seele build had like 80% break. Every single piece had at least 10-15%. Burned all of them for xp when I got some decent crit relics... PAIN
sevy has unhingedly added herself in every video and I'm all for it

One team I'd like to play HarmonyBlazer with is with Xueyi, Silverwolf, and Luocha. This team effectively allows consistent damage output (other than Luocha's skill which can be done passively) AND destroy anyone regardless of their type. It also allows Silverwolf to apply debuffs more consistently with there being only two types on the team.
Just slap on some HP/DEF pieces on mostly everyone (Some Atk on Luocha, Some Crit on Xueyi) and then you can clear anything with a brain-dead brute force mindset!
I love how every form of the trailblazer has been quite helpful at many times, even Physical Trailblazer can be useful on Simulated universe using their technique when you messed up on those lotto tickets.

I tried almost this team, except with Bailu or Fu xuan instead of Luocha. Hate to say it, but it's bad. Without Ruan Mei, you lose both superbreak damage (33.3% of it is gone) and break uptime.
Another good use for Physical Trailblazer, also conveniently in the Simulated Universe, is the "3 little pigs" event. I like to keep Preservation Trailblazer as a sustain for the beginning of SU runs, as they're nice and versatile and the enemies aren't yet OP. Being able to switch out your sustain for another damage dealer, even if that damage dealer isn't the greatest, is good for catching those early trotters.
Admittedly, when I use Destruction Trailblazer outside of trotter catching, it's mostly because I like the Trailblazer, not because they're my greatest physical DPS.
That said, your team idea does sound pretty great. It's more F2P friendly than most teams, oddly enough. Even with two limited characters, HP/DEF pieces practically fall from the sky. I've also noticed that the only times I've actually lost in combat are when all enemies suddenly decide to focus down my low-max-hp harmony/nihility characters (Usually in SU, MOC, and PF). I could fix that with artifacts, of course, but that generally weakens their damage, lowers their crit stats, stuff like that. One of the reasons I like Pela so much, the most important parts of her kit are the de-buff and defense debuff, neither of which require much investment besides trace leveling, so you can tank her up with HP/DEF without losing utility. But with HarmonyBlazer, all that matters for damage is break effect and toughness damage, and the only way to increase toughness damage is like a single SU blessing and Ruan Mei's kit. HarmonyBlazer lets you tank up your entire team and scale everyone's damage with a single stat. No more oneshots for them endgame bosses!
I would suggest using Gallagher.. he has insane break damage potentials. not to mention higher heals with break effect.
Either Gallagher or isntead of Luocha. Aventurine. cuz he has the highest toughness damage in a single burst.
Seeing teams with no actual DPS unit clear MOC is not something i was expecting. It's even funnier since none of the leaks I could see had numbers for Super Break, so we didn't know just how much damage they could do. Mhy is cooking with the mechanics and I'm so here for it
Ruan mei indirect buff is crazy 😭
Not only is harmony mc a good unit, they also synergize with old characters and making them viable again.

It's not just a boon for Break Effect characters... it's a boon for ALL relic farms now, why? Well let me tell you:
1. Now every defense, HP, speed stat piece is worth using no matter what because Break Effect can't crit or scale with ATK%
2. New characters come out and chances are you won't have decent relics if you pre-farm OR if you don't have the energy to farm them... so just run Break Effect on them.
3. Healers can now do Break Effect damage (I actually made Bailu a DPS for the giggles)
I think a lot of value from super break is that it makes everyone deal damage. When even your sustains and healers do 20 k, battles become way easier
Bailu DPS is so odd that must be an absolute blast to play and fun.

Another insane synergy is kafka follows up on gallghers basics for tons of super break and her ulti basically shreds mobs with ease. Also the dots do fall a bit but can br really good if she does the break.😊
The good thing of Break Kafka is that if she breaks, even if the break damage wont be as good (wont matter as much with super break anyway) the higher scaling on BE for Lighting is the DOT, so you get okay Break damage and a bigger DOT that Kafka can Detonate constantly.
E2s1 acheron/aventurine s5 trends/hmc/rm.
If enemies are weak to aleast Img. Then it's an extremely good option, regardless of losing out on acheron dmg bonus from nihility teammate. Will be busted when Jiaoqiu comes out.

What's big about Harmony Trailblazer is that they Broke the Curse of how every Gacha Game has a Useless MC character. Harmony Trailblazer isn't just Usable but they are straight up Meta.
Even if they release a Better 5 star Super break Enabler That just means both Side can now use Super break.

Thank you for bringing up how the char behaves in Auto, hope you continue doing so with other chars, ill subscribe just for that!
Welt plus HMC and RM is super fun. It's easy enough to hit around 300 BE on him, which means his breaks delay actions by 120%! Combine that with the HMC trace that gives another 30% delay, and Ruan Mei's additional recovery delay, AS WELL as Welt's own 40% delay ult and slows to truly banish the enemy to the abyss of action value. And, since they're delayed for so long, you'll have all the time in the world to throw super breaks at them and lay on the DPS. If the enemy isn't control effect immune, you can run Asta instead of a sustain for more break and SPD to fit more turns in the long action delays.

I found HMC (Harmony Main Character) has a real good uptime with their stacks once the ball gets tolling.
Especially if you run ERR rope. She's only at t9 energy gain right and she's generating waaaaayyy to much.
Can easily see switching to BE rope when her e6 comes out.

A random combo I was using today for funnies was argenti, robin, sparkle and MC :D and you can slot whoever as the 4th instead of sparkle.
I trozd it with Gallagher/Ruan Mei/Trailblazer/Serval and it was awesome. It was my team for Penacony final quest and it was really satisfying. SP consumption in manageable, Gallagher heals really good.
just pulled Xuei e6 so went back to this video. I really love quantum characters and now I can give yet another one some love and a good team! I don't have Ruanmei but I still have high hopes for my faux ftp team (Xuei, Harmony MC, Gallagher and Tingyun or maybe Pela)

To answer your question on teams; I’ve heard that Firefly, like Bothill will also be Break focused. If true I’m pairing her with my MC, alongside Robin and a Sustain, possibly Lady Fu. I do have Ruan Mei, but I still want to use Robin out of love for these 3. That and I feel that Robin might give some broader damage boosts, and I already have a great Ruan Mei over world team with Welt and Sushang that I really don’t want to copy.
Since you're talking about Firefly, just figured you should know that you're actively gimping yourself hard using Robin over Ruan Mei in a team for her. Her damage drops off a cliff without the way RM's buffs improve HTB, and she's basically worthless without it as of far. Robin's buffs also actively do not contribute to FF, since you have RM you really should just plan to use her.

I have her at e3 atm and she ABSOLUTELY doesnt need err rope, she already has ult up ALL the time, plus the ult does nothing if the enemy isnt broken. BE rope all the way guys
And E6 she’ll have two more hits on the skill and each gives energy (that’s how bounce skills work in this game) So Break Effect rope is the right answer.

@@kyuzairen5383 In bounce skills each bounce gives equal amount of dmg/toughness dmg/energy so when you get more of them it's basically same number but now it's x7 instead of x5. it's same with E6 Welt and E1 Asta for example. So E6 on HTB should be 40% increase on dmg/toughness dmg and energy gain of HTB skill. Which is pretty good E6.
How fitting that the Watchmaker set is BIS for the Trailblazer using the Watchmaker's Hat

HMC and Runmei are almost exclusively needed to be run in the same party for the maximum effectiveness. So it makes sense they sell Robin to fit other team's harmony unit. (Beside sparkle)

Break effect is so meta nowadays.
I believe future characters would have something like counter mechanics.
Something like increased damage while facing different type of elements or even, damage x how much toughness enemy has
So since Super Break is scales from BE, Defense ignore, and Weakness Break Efficiency, etc. It'll be a great compatibility with Firefly since she has all those 3🤔

i would like to mention that e6 is currently unobtainable. i assume the final eidolon will be unlocked from the 2.3 trailblaze mission but for now we only get the 1 from the 2.2 story mission and 4 from the clockie statue

Loved Harmony Trailblazer, they look like such a great unit over-all, i hope the HSR team keeps on giving us the best kits for MCs in the future, cant wait for Nihility MC to pair up with Acheron :)

I love how so far, every time we get a new variant of the MC, they just exceed our expectations.
New weekly boss is literally designed for Harmony Trailblazer. His defense stat is absurdly high so your typical crit damage dealers won't hit as hard, but super break ignores defense and you're supposed to break him as quickly and efficiently as possible due to his boss mechanics, anyway.
MC is so fun with break, he can dance and boost alleys attacks. Hope this makes the dev team make relic pre set ups so we can make characters who don’t usually need break damage have set ups with the mc now
I think that RM's lc works better on HMC because they just have way more consistent ult cycles compared to RM on the same lc while RM can still fully function on Memories

I think my favorite thing to do in this game is break the enemy as fast as I can so any unit that can do that is my favorite team comp. I always try my best to build for break on my characters.
Been waiting for HMC for years. Now that they are finally here + Ruan Mei, the leaked Himeko team is basically complete. A little bird also has told me Firefly will make this team go crazier. So excited to use Himeko in all game modes without issues. 😊
It'll be very strong with ff e1.
At base it may be best to go ff/hmc/ruan mei/huohuo or sparkle.
As huo/spark will lesson FF energy downtime.
Also a different bird told me that Jade will be very strong option on FF.
I pulled e6 Xueyi because I liked her, then I pulled Ryan Mei, and Gallagher. Sparkle was on that team but never felt right. Now I can finally round out the Break Team that I’ve been dreaming of!
Jing Yuan against Lightning centric enemy teams work well with HMC too like the current first half of MOC 12. It's not the most optimal but strangely enough works just fine. Not too sure about building Break Effect on Jing Yuan but his standard build would do just fine.
I feel like Dan Heng IL would be really good with how much toughness damage he deals. Would love to see people try it out.
After farming for Acherron's relic I can finally use the watchmaker sets for the mc.
We can always count on Sevy to drop us the guides for the "side characters" before anyone else and I'm eternally grateful! I am soooo excited after watching this to see all the potential this MC path has to change team archetypes and open up things in the future. Xueyi is gonna be my main focus and a super fun DPS Luka!

can someone please tell me if there’s a cap on break effect bonus for HMC like there is for ruan mei (caps out at 180%)? i can’t find this info anywhere and need to know if i should be sacrificing a little BE on HMC for speed or ERR…
There isn’t. Assuming you have 360+ break effect then you’ll gain a buff based on that.
