I rented two dresses this year for weddings I went to. One was a Monique Lhuillier dress that retails for $1100 (CAD) and I rented it for $135. It was gorgeous.
I am a couponer and I can get make up for free. I had so much and I don’t use makeup 💄 I gave it all away. Some to my nieces, left some outside, with a free sign gone in minutes. 😊 we did the same thing when our mom passed away rest in peace everybody got what they wanted and the rest of the stuff instead of doing a yard sale we just put it out and we were amazed at how many people needed things, furniture, kitchen, household items, food it was a great feeling, knowing that even after her death she provided for others and us.
I make my own moisturiser. I make my own spray cleaner. Put your bleach in a fine spray bottle and leave those stupid thick bleaches off your shopping list.
Make your own dishwasher ‘tablets ‘ by 2tsp bicarbonate of soda and 2tsp low foaming dish soap like ecover in the dish washer slot and vinegar as the rinse aid it works great at a fraction of the price ! Love from Ruth smallholding west wales 🏴 🎉
Great tips. Thanks! I’ve had jam doughnut app since the end of September and earned £53 already, it’s great. Will definitely be trying to stretch my food shop and use things up before buying more👍
Thanks Vicky, all good tips. I definiteky need to eat off my pantry shelves for a few months and use the $ saved for other important saving funds. That's winning! 🎉😊🎉
Buy fruit and vegetables that are in season. Stuff that LASTS. For example here in South Africa two good winter products are sweet potatoes and butternut squash. Don't buy potatoes in bulk in Summer unless you have a really cool place to store them - they go off more easily in hot weather. Tear lettuce apart and wash it and then spray it with lemon juice. Then pack it in a plastic container and put it in the fridge. Take all clingwrap covered products out of the clingwrap. Put mushrooms in paper bags. Wrap the stems of bananas in foil or clingwrap (use the clingwrap that you removed from other products.) Keep your eyes open. Do you have a fisherman/hunter friend? Battle stations, guys! You're at war here!
Take out your calculator. Work out the price per item/gram. AND - write the shelf price next to the item. Tot up. And WATCH THAT TILL! You won't believe how often the price at the till is more than the price on the shelf.
I used to work in the Coop and for years we had a brand of pasta where the small pack was always on offer and buying two of them was always cheaper than buying the bigger pack. I don't think the bigger pack was ever cheaper so I don't even know why we bothered selling it 😂
Here in South Africa you can buy 100 Paracetamol for about R25. But 2 dozen Panado costs over R30 - same thing, 500gm Paracetamol. 'Voltaren' tablets cost R6 for 10. Generic.

That's so amazing, and I bet those things made such a huge difference to people.
Where do you get the coupons? Also amazing that you give it away! ❤

All these savings are mostly in America. I live in London UK. Never find nothing. Any tips to help out there please.

I always check price per gram. I'm the person that stands and looks.. probably in everyone's way 😂
Haha, same.
I am also that person 😊
I'm the one next to you
Me too. Always have to take my glasses shopping 😊

I liked your last tip the best! If I managed to knock out one grocery shop every month or 6 weeks it would save us so much money!
Yes I think it makes such a huge difference and focuses the mind on how to use up the food you already have!
Turning off "vampire" electric devices has been an easy money saver! I even turn off the power point of the microwave.
yes totally, and you just need to get in the habit with it!
Hai my lovely, love the video and your top , what is your fur baby name ? She or he is growing fast , much luv from Preston x🥰

Isn't it interesting how this varies from product to product? And then when they add random offers in it can be really confusing.
I always cook for more than 1 meal, just pack and freeze
such a great way to save on food, and time!

We buy grand papa tablets and powers when we go to South Africa . They are the best. Rebecca
@timothypeacock2737 Well next time stock up on generic Panado. It's just paracetamol. Little plastic drum of 100. Dirt cheap.
