Crafting an Artisan Leather Maple Leaf Corset

Another relaxing video of Nora leather crafting, this time making a custom corset made of maple leaves. Each leaf was cut out and tooled individually, and then they were sewn together to form a corset/belt/waist cincher.

Beautiful work! Definitely my favorite of your artisan series. My hands couldn’t tool so much leather. Your mallet is quite unusual as well. Is there a name for that style?

Thank you so much! My mallet is just a regular old rawhide mallet, but I made a leather cover for how side for when I'm hammering leather itself (the rawhide or metal would scratch the leather quite a bit, which you don't usually want!)

I use Eco-Flo dyes, the first one is Saddle Tan, the one on the edges is watered down Dark/Medium Brown

It's 8-9oz, which is a bit thicker than I would maybe normally do, but 5-6oz or 6-7oz is rarely on sale ;)
