    Beautiful work! Definitely my favorite of your artisan series. My hands couldn’t tool so much leather. Your mallet is quite unusual as well. Is there a name for that style?

    • @FoxesandRavens
      @FoxesandRavens  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! My mallet is just a regular old rawhide mallet, but I made a leather cover for how side for when I'm hammering leather itself (the rawhide or metal would scratch the leather quite a bit, which you don't usually want!)

    Do you make anything with the little scraps?

    Vraiment magnifique comme toutes les autres vidéos, mais quel type de teinture utilisez vous pour avoir ce rendu superbe ?

    Where did you get that wood-handled curved knife? It's beautiful. I have a metal-handled one, but I would rather have one that is more enjoyable to use.

    Could you do a raven wing/feather corset?

    • @FoxesandRavens
      @FoxesandRavens  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know, it's funny you mention that! I'm in the process of developing a collection of items with feathers, using die cutters to make the feather shapes. It should be released in December

    • @FoxesandRavens
      @FoxesandRavens  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use Eco-Flo dyes, the first one is Saddle Tan, the one on the edges is watered down Dark/Medium Brown

    Amazing! What thickness is that leather?

    • @FoxesandRavens
      @FoxesandRavens  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's 8-9oz, which is a bit thicker than I would maybe normally do, but 5-6oz or 6-7oz is rarely on sale ;)

    What sort of knife is that? I'm used to calling those clicking knives, but I never learned their proper name.
