- Ankylosing Spondylitis has crippled so many young people over the years. Its a painful condition no doubt but more painful is the fact that most of these patients are not aware that it is managable disease. Once diagnosed they feel they are cursed for life. But it is not true. With physiotherapy , medicines and surgery you can live a normal life.
Sandeep and his wife are sharing their journey from despair to delight through hip replacement. They came from Kolkatta , West Bengal to Dr Ashwani Maichand, specialist MIS Hip Replacement surgeon at New Delhi, India.

@@DrAshwaniMaichand sir, Plz make a video on post operation infection. My grandmother went through 3 replacement due to infection from 2015.. now it's my turn for replacement. So u can relate the situation at home. It's really demotivating..
Infection depends on patient immunity also. Don't worry, you are young. Very few chances of infection, go ahead. Only requirement is surgery should be short and clean.
