We actually went to Five Oaks back in December, and met up with the Vafunseekers for breakfast there. We put both put out a video. I don't normally get pancakes very often, but she really loves their pancakes. They are very thick. Hope you all have a great trip in December, if you don't get to come before that.
The balsamic vinegar sounds so good over the bread and the bucatini looked excellent. We just missed y’all!! We were just right next door to y’all at The Nascar Speedpark today. We enjoyed y’all’s video and review.
@@NCMemoryMakers we were next door riding go-karts from around 11:00-2:00, so we would’ve been there around the same time. Hopefully one day we’ll run into y’all in the Smokies. We hope that you guys have a great time in the mountains this weekend.
I really like Italian food. That place opened just a few days before we were there in January but we didn't have a chance to eat there. Thanks for the review. The restaurant was designed with a great layout. I enjoyed looking over the menu but was surprised that no garlic bread or roll was included with the meal. I need to try different types of choices because I usually always get chicken or veal parmigiana. The sauce looked different on your bowls. Can you actually pick the type of sauce you prefer? Yes, Christ is risen! The sauce in her bowl, was a very spiced up version of marinara. The one in my bowl, was called "Rosa" sauce. It was a combination of marinara and alfredo. We did not ask them about picking various sauces, but my wife just said that the waitress told her that you can pick.
I can’t stand when restaurants, like the Mexican restaurant you ate at the previous night, leave the tails on the shrimp. It’s ok to leave them on fried shrimp but totally unacceptable for other dishes. (Maybe people don’t want to put their fingers in their food to grab a shrimp by the tail). This new Italian restaurant looks great so we will definitely have to try it. Great video as always!! Thanks!
You are very welcome. And I completely agree, about the tails on the shrimp. This is a great restaurant, otherwise. But I do wish they wouldn't do that. It's actually the third place I've been to in the last year that did the same thing. And one of them was a seafood restaurant.
Could not believe that the restaurant was so empty. You must have gotten in as soon as they opened the doors. We have not been to this restaurant yet. I am glad you enjoyed your visit. The desert looked yummy!! Love butterscotch and the caramel would be an extra treat added. Don't know if I could eat that spicy dish because I can't handle to much spicy foods. Cindy loves spicy dishes but is picky about stuff like that. Hope you have a good time in TN. Have a Happy Easter. Jesus is Alive!!

Thankfully, my dish was not near as spicy as hers was. Our server said that what Shawnasi got, was one of the spiciest ones they had. The dessert was excellent, and we would highly recommend it. We were very surprised that there weren't more people there, than there were. I think we got there around noon.
