Tyvm. This is fantastic!. I'm going to take quilting classes at Hayes in Delaware next week. I'll be doing urban chic. I'm so excited to learn. I wished you had a tutorial on Urban Chic. I love your friendly smile and demeanor!! Thank you again!!😊
Love these quick & easy quilt patterns. You make it look like there’s a lot of work but when you simplify it... it makes those of us who feel overwhelmed like we can conquer this simple quilting! Thank you
Hi! I went to my local quilt shop (Sew Yeah in Las Vegas) and bought this book yesterday along with Pretty Darn Quick. I'm also making the Stepping Stones quilt (my second quilt ever!) out of the fabric I bought from your shop a week ago. I LOVE IT! Thank you so much! I wanted to point out what a great job Sew Yeah is doing promoting your books. They do a live destash every Saturday on TH-cam and this week they offered up your books (retail) but then also sold different 3-yard bundles for $15. When I was there yesterday, they also had three 3-yard quilts from your books on display. The brick street was adorable. It was a 1950s teenage crush theme with minty greens and soft pinks. Thank you so much for your videos! I love watching them and hope to make many more of your quilts. I can't WAIT to see the fat quarter book your daughter is working on. :)
I love watching your videos. Discovered you while home during the pandemic, you made the months more "normal" when we couldn't go anywhere. You also made the time go faster! Thank you all!
Donna, I just love your videos. I just received my order with your new book and my 3 yard quilt kit with the unicorn 🦄 material. It will be for my great granddaughter. Thank you.
How do I put the backing on for the Luckett split after applying the borders? I'd this a wrap around border with mitered corners? Please help. Thank you!
Hi Constance! Are you referring to binding? The borders are not mitered or wrapped to the back. The backing is applied through the quilting process when the quilt is layered with the top, batting, and backing. The binding is then applied to cover the raw edge. Hope that helps!
Its all about getting that quilt done in a day. What about the process? Shouldn't the process be why we quilt in the first place? When you're on your machine next ask yourself why you began quilting in the first place?
Thank you, thank you! Love the three yard quilts, fast and easy. Easy to show off big bold prints. It really does make quilting fast and fun!
