that charger is a thermoelectric generator, and in fact the colder the water is the better it works since it works off of temperature differential. in other words, the more extreme the temperature is on either side the more electricity the charger makes. a fun little experiment you should get a voltage meter and see what the difference in electrical output is between using water and using something like dry ice or liquid nitrogen.

black guy just diy it yourself. Buy a peltier device costs like 5 bucks, stick it to the bottom of a pot, and put a candle underneath. Connect a power control for like another 5 bucks and frankenstein a usb cable onto it. Takes ten minutes and a 15th of the price.

It's advertized as a device that 1-charges a phone and 2-sterilize your water at a rate of 1 liter per hour. I just watched the device charge a phone and boil water.
It does exactly what it claims to do.
the device IS a useless pile of shit. if you want a stove there are much better options for cheaper. if you want a charger then just buy a battery bank or solar panel.
It's for survival purposes if there's a blackout or you have no power supply to plug it.

Hi. I think it is a small device called the (Pletier). It works when you heat it up from one side and cooling it from the other then it will start giving electricity.
Try to replace the water with ice if it's going to give you more electricity than I'm sure it's a pletier.

that thing is using a piesoelectrical element that reacts with temperatures. It produces electricity when it's cold on one side and hot on the other and thats why it starts charging with cold water

Just as long as one side of the peltier element is hot and the other one is cold it will generate electricity.

Peltier element is like a thermal pump, it heeds to have contrast of temperature between two sides. The higher the contrast - the better output you get. Works both ways. If you apply electricity and get the hot side as cold as possible you can get -20c on the cold side
