The Kurita packs sound incredible. Chinera, Shiro, and Akuma are all must haves for me. Not super familiar with the Wars of Reaving mechs, but given we'll be kneee deep in the WoR fiction when they get released, Im sure Ill be more excited for them. Im surprised the Protos are getting a pack. Not exactly the most popular units. But they are definitely most on need. I really hope we get the Fa Shih. They may be my most fielded units over all. I adore how they play on the field. The Illician pack is my my penultimate need on the list. Love the Ostwar and his grand kids. The Clan Se Fox pack is a great mix. Instant buy. But I NEED the Fox Patrol box. I will cherish that Quick Draw.

Fox patrol was the worst Battletech book I've ever read and one of the least grounded in reality. The writer has no idea about operational planning. It was a frustrating read from cover to cover and cared more about "the message" than telling a good story.
Fox Patrol mech selection looks great. I don't know anything about this unit but 100% want that mech selection... Unless I already have the models in it.
I do agree about the light company. I did not start really playing until the clan invasion kickstarter because of model quality. But my dear friend who has played from day one holds the goofy bugs mechs in high regards as I have never seen them much more than a footnote. But your explanation helps to shine some light on that.
i totally agree with you fox patrol take. the fox patrol is hot right now and they have all the minis already, they should sell em now. people could get an early buy on the quick draw if anything.
Right? I am hoping that Fox Patrol is still as popular or more so when the force pack comes out, but I worry that the production side on that one is too far behind the popularity.

Yeah, hopefully we will see more releases in plastic. I am betting though that the protos and the three Mechs will be separate releases, and the idea is to get people to buy more than one. What will be a wallet killer is the premium version of a protomech, hopefully it at least comes in packs of 2
I cant remember off the top of my head what I said the source is. I know it predates 3085 as it was in the Mechwarrior Dark Age clix game, an it was originally in Record Sheets MWDA 1 when they were trying to bring in players from that part of the franchise.

Since I was not at either convention I am working off second hand accounts on where and when the information became public, I am working off of firsthand information on the list itself though, and regardless of where the information became public, it doesn't change the information about the projected force packs themselves which are presented in the video.
