Mike is in for the surprise of the day if he pops in The Jazz Daredevil. H. Jon Benjamin's (Bob's Burgers, Archer, and countless other voice acting gigs) goof on jazz and noir. His first album, well, I should have...* *learned how to play piano tells you everything you need to know.
Can't agree with you more Mike - anything remastered by Kevin Gray or Bernie Grundman is always top shelf -btw Lady Gaga's latest album bombed badly in Australia
Ref Bob Dylan, whilst his debut is far from a classic I still find it better than Knocked out Loaded and Down in the Groove. I hope they never get the audiophile treatment… sorry!
The 2009 AP Humble Pie Smokin’ Truly IS Smokin’. Why the heck are they doin it over again? The 2009 was done by Kevin Gray as well so just repress that one! They already did all the magic they could possibly do with that horrible recording. So weird, the choices Chad’s making! Redoing what he’s already done. Just get those dang Atlantic 75 ROCK albums out! They’re comin out Way Too Slow, i.e. At this rate it’ll be 2 more years ‘til they get to the best Genesis albums.
Re Smokin' it would obviously be more financially viable for AP to re use parts used to create the 2009 presses but if those parts were few and spent then a reissue is the only way. Really not a complaint for me! I agree they are a generally slow labell/plant but i will take that over the GZ Media "lets press as much as poss, as quick as poss from a 5min digital master and screw the vinyl pressing QC in the process" method!
@@tomwebb7091Yeah but that’s what I’m sayin. Just REISSUE the 2009. Why do Mastering and Producing All over again? 🤷♂️ My point is… why is he putting out the shit he has already done, when we STILL have like 30 Atlantic 75’s to put out?!!! For Christs sake! It’s Only the “75th Anniversary” for ONE YEAR! After that it’s 76th, 77th and so on. Just put these GD things out!! They talk talk talk and then release Slower than pond water. I can tell by his choices… Chad is walking us through his own mid life crisis. I agree on GZ btw. Shut them Down
@@thomaslytle5519 Im pretty sure Smokin wont upset the 75th cart. Ultimately they are a small label doing proper work licensing tapes from labels that would likely rather not for small runs and using a smaller plant that focuses on quality over quantity with it. AP has never been a prolific label. Also as i mentioned im sure they would reissue the 2009 if they had parts in the shape to do so or maybe they just feel they can do better. Personally none of this causes me complaint. My REAL beef with AP is the SACD love/hate. This is a label that clearly gets the format is still to be reckoned with but the SACD releases seem to be lagging well behind the vinyl releases even though they can be produced in a fraction of the time and cost. Now that i dont get!!!
hey did you see how low is 2024 compared to 2023 sales in LPs? you know why? because if i have to spent (in italy) 40-45 euros for a remastered lp from 1975 led zeppelin, NO THANKS, i'll get the cds used in a bin for 1 euro. You sellers must tell the truth to the industry or the LPs are gonna die again.
I live in EU also. The vinyl industry is imploding with the outrageous prices being charged. It's sad particularly for any young people trying to get into the industry.
Silver Street arrived today- Mike, your advice is always spot on - thanks again 😎
Love your new haircut dude 🙂
Have had nothing but great dealings with Analogue Productions customer service.
Nothing sells records quite like, "This record is absolutely horrible"....
Mike is looking noticeably healthier as of late.
Many thanks Mike & The In Groove✌️🤘👊
Hi DBD, great to hear from you. Have a wonderful day brother
@@djjoeykmusic always a pleasure DjJoey
Amazing restock of AP titles.
Although there’s some great albums shown, I keep seeing the Prince self-titled in the back right corner, on the 2nd shelf. That’s a fantastic record 🎉
Did I hear “elephant” or “Elegant Gypsy”?😂
If you like Pino D’angio you should go visit his back catalogue going back to 1981, very catchy tunes.
Mike, you have to get a nice pressing of Dan Fogelberg's "Phoenix" album, and give it a close listen. It will change your opinion of his material.....

Analog Productions discontinued the Wonderful Sounds of Christmas, I see the others in the series are limited stock so grab them while you can

How does Supervinyl compare to SRX?
just purchased a couple records. mike looking younger than ever somehow. gotta appreciate how men can age like fine wine and women like milk😊 🥛
Just what we needed another Crue greatest hits, I think I’ll take Lady GG over it
It’s that time again 😂
Say "salsa" again. 😂
Is the VU the "alternate" Loaded?
Yes, on clear vinyl
Great video 🎉 thank you Michael! Awesome stuff
Love it ❤
@@djjoeykmusic you got class man✌️🤘
Tyler Durden wouldn’t let Mike inside.

Paul McCartney's "Off the Ground" is not on the site. Why do I see it on the wall❓🤔 I really like to purchase this album. 😇
Used stuff is not usually on the site. He has way more records in the store.

"Zoom in"? Why not move closer to the camera so we can see the records you discuss better?

Lol I live in Poland and LZ gets discounted all the time 😂 it’s not Mike’s fault you don’t know how to look for a bargain.
Things are good here in US the quality and variety has never been this good
@@BeatlesOasisFan you don't get the point
@BeatlesOasisFan No need to troll. That wasn't the point. It's the outrageous cost of vinyl, particularly new vinyl.
