Hello Ingus! I tested various mosfet and polarizations, mixers with Sa612,filter input BPF...the snr of the demodulators are betweeen -40 ..-50db, not very much...Ic am radio standard used, not professional😁. I will test with LC tank. With tv coil loop input antenna its more low and clean the reception, but, very selective and critical. I will make a own saq receiver stage, good idea. Thanks very much Ingus !
@@EA1HBX Very interesting project - make TRF receiver with two LC tank's ( RF amplifier + regenerative demodulator ). About LC tank: variometer coil is better than variable cap. With dip switch variable cap and single variometer coil can cover from about 10kHz to about 1000...1800kHz. ( capacitors: 220nF; 100nF; 47nF; 22nF; 10nF; 4,7nF; 2,2nF; 1nF; 470pF; 220pF; 100pF; 47pF; 33pF. Variable inductor: 700...1000uH ( max value ) - easy can made from ferrite bar and PVC pipe with 80 turns from kat5 internet cable wires... Variable inductance ratio: from about 700...800uH to about 57uH.
@@ingussilins6330 hello! Never i tested regenerative receiver on this way, with variometer. I will try it. The inductance must be greater, more of 1 mH to resonate with a 100pf if. Thanks !!!
@@EA1HBX 1mH variometer coil with 100nF fixed capacitor LC tank resonante with about 15,9 kHz ( my TRF receiver use 1000uH - 53uH variable inductor and fixed caps ).
Great video (in English)! Thanks for your efforts to receive SAQ on Alexanderson Day 2021
Thanks to you and the all Saq Team, fantastic work !!! Congrats!!!
Great clip Luis! 73's de SM0WTN from Sweden
Hello Peter, welcome !! Many thanks ! 73 de EA1HBX
I think - with LC tank in input stage can remove noise...

@@ingussilins6330it is right this way ! Good trf LC variometer 53 to 1000mh!!
