Being Hmong my grandparents n parents struggle through the Vietnam war eating whatever they can find to survive just so they can give me a better life n til today I will buy them whatever they want to eat cause they are the reason why I’m existed..
Agree, But LAOS Now open up now... That's the war just came from LAOS February.. Lots of Hmong live like normal citizens now.. Most of them are very happy..
Thank you Mario and Ked for such a great video. I was so impressed with your vehicle. Maybe you should call it the "Kedi" if it is your manufacture. What magnificent views and special jungle environment. Such a stunningly beautiful place. I loved that you saved the small reptile for future generations. Your bushcraft skills are awesome! Take care out there. The jungle can be a harsh place even if you know your way around. I'm not telling you anything you don't know even better than me. It is my custom to wish people safe travels as they leave, so Safe Travels to you all.
If in a desert area, I do believe there is no food or drink but if in a forest area, there is a lot of food and drink. So when I read NO FOOD NO WATER in jungle, I just smile.
You guys are mucho loco, lol. What a trip. Happy you survived and made it home . God Bless you Both. Amen. ✌️ Peace from Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong
You two should visit the Hmong community in China during their New Year Festival. I've only seen videos of it and there weren't that many on TH-cam. The Hmong New Year Festival in China seems to be celebrated differently compared to the Hmong in the US.
i think you need to cook the banana blossom longer, there are two types of banana blossom one is sweet one is bitter, banana grove water have health benefits like to lower your hypertension
I think one of the most underestimated things about the tribes and people living in amazon as example is the heat and humidity... yes everything else is dangerous also. But for example I drove my car no ac for 10 min to go camp and I was gonna pass out if i didn't drive home. South Florida.... can you imagine staying alive in the heat and humidity in the jungle... it's amazing these people
Very Simple solution to the traction problem on the grease slick roads. TIRE CHAINS aren't just for ice . His homemade truck would have walked rite through and up every bit of that road. 😮 I'm from Alaska and I can honestly say that I use chains more often in summer mud logging roads than on the ice roads.
Half of the hmong America go through that to escape from Lao to Thailand and swim across making river on the monsoon season there is no food to begin with .
1 suggestion: never put your hands in your drinking water. that's a really good way to contaminate clean water. think of it like this, you spent all that time and energy cutting down the banana tree, hallowing out the stump, then waiting for it to fill up with clean water, then you put something inside the clean water that has touched the trees, bushes, ground, mud, unsafe water... all of those things have the potential to cause problems, they might not this time, but next time? basically, your hands get dirty while camping, so you probably don't wanna contaminate your water with them, especially if you have something else you can scoop the water out with. i just don't wanna see you get sick like i have seen so many others get sick, especially when you have a safer way to get the water out
Me watching this video after literally yesterday sold my fully modified jeep wrangler which I went to lots of offroad with is kinda killing me 😢I want they experience again
And what about catching deseases Malaria, Dengue, intestinal parasitis a.s.o. .As a Doc who workedvin Laos I would like to know your own experience. Sokdi deu.

Happy you didn’t encounter any tiger in that area
Enjoy your good food look tasty 😋
My wife has family who owns rubber plantations in Xaisomboun Province. The roads are horrible.
Agreed, it takes so long to get around anywhere there
No purifier for water, dysentery?
Eat the inside of the banana tree... It's good as food, like the banana fruit.
Nice survive without food and water
9:10 That was not a rat that was a Bieber . It probably was eating on the tree and the tree fell on him. This is very common.
I like this content.....why is your lady not going for trips like that?:)
Hey thanks! She actually might join me in the future 😁
I’m headed to my backyard to see if I can survive more than 6 hours without food or drink.
My Hmong countrymen!
