the tower 28 glosses are my all time favorite formula. i have stubbornly dry lips and if i feel them get dry at all i instantly start picking BUT ever since i discovered tower 28 i have actually had very nourished lips and have finally been able to wear lipstick after i swipe it on during my preparations before i apply the lipsticks! 10/10 would recommend. the shade fire is my fav but the clear is amazing to get shine and nourishment so i can wear something later :)

Chanel is my go-to favorite, but am loving the Fenty and Lisa Eldridge. Tower 28 is pretty but doesn’t seem to last given its thinner consistency. Currently also enjoying Rare Beauty and Lawless. Am off to try Pat McGrath and Fitglow based on your recommendation. Thank you, as always, for another great video post!

The best gloss I’ve come across recently is a pair from the brand And Other Stories. I saw a pink and cherry red gloss by the cash register and snagged them on a whim. Come to find- they are hands down the best glosses I’ve ever used. The colors are so lovely, apply so smoothly, and last for hours. They are my go-to for every day makeup.

Pat mcgrath glosses are so under rated! I have a few of the finishes, thanks to her mini kits and sales. My favourites being bronze temptation and faux real (perfect gloss over any nude lipstick). She does 50% gloss sale every yr after christmas and this is when I stock up

Loving Lisa and Tower 28, I just picked up a Bobbi Brown Crushed lip oil and I love love it( thanks to you, Matilda) ! I just opened the Clinique Pop plush gloss in Black Honey and I love the color and formula . It’s my first time trying anything in Black Honey .
I just purchased the Merit lipstick in the shade Cabo (perfect redhead friendly, orangy-red) for my maternity photoshoot here soon! So beautiful and glad I stepped out of my comfort zone with a brighter shade, so comfortable too! 🧡

Charlotte Tilbury's lip lustre is my favourite formula of all time, hands down. It actually gets better the longer you wear it. It looks great when freshly applied, and after a few hours it still got that 'stick' to it, it just looks a bit more natural, like your lips but better. I love it lol
Hello from NC!! Love all your videos-you ALWAYS bring something new to my world of makeup love!! Please make the "traditional gloss" video! I'd love to get your thoughts!! I have to share my favorite: Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean in Garconne!! That gloss balm is SO BEAUTIFUL. The price is terrifying at best, but man, catch it during the Sephora sales & you won't regret it!! 💜
Love the Rom&nd glosses that also leave a stain on your lips.
PML glossies are my faves…I am obsessed with lip glosses! My next gloss purchases are: Lisa Eldridge (waiting for the blushes to come back in), Lunar Beauty, Lawless Beauty and Huda Beauty. The Kosas lip oil and Tower 28 lip jelly are both lovely products as well. I was also pleasantly surprised by Maybelline Lifter gloss; I think it is a Fenty gloss bomb dupe!
Oh Matilda your videos put me in the land of temptation! Purchased the Dior Addict lip glow in Berry. Very juicy & hydrating! Also, really enjoy Fenty’s Fu$$y. Fenty’s lip gloss cream is my favourite in Mauve wives, pining to buy Fenty Glow in same formula. Luscious & creamy formula with great pigment. They’re amazing💋🇦🇺

Fenty's Cream gloss in "Fruit Snackz" is such a beautiful glossy berry, can be sheered out or built up. It also doubles as a stain!
I love this gloss like video, I have so so many. I've just got a Bobbi Brown crushed lip colour in babe, I really love it - not so much a gloss. But I have so many old Clarins glosses not that they r made any more - unfortunately. I love them ❤. I also love the Clarins lip oils right atm. So nice!!!!!

My go-to gloss is the Tower 28 lip jelly in the shade Chill. I also just got it in Cashew which is the most beautiful “your-lips-but-better” shade. When I need a restock on glosses I’m definitely gonna go give the Kosas Wet Lip Oil a try since I’ve been eyeing Dip and Unbuttoned for awhile. Btw love your swatches…they’re just so satisfying to watch lol

I love Tower 28 cashew too but I definitely want to try Sesame as well! Love the Lisa Eldridge lip glosses with Blush and Affair as a my lips but better colour as well as Dragon to bring more colour.

I want to get the new colour Sesame in the Tower 28 gloss. I also love the Kosas lip oil but unfortunately the ones I had turned bad quite quickly, had to get rid of them. Great video as always, so pleasant to watch❤

I love the Pat McGrath glosses, the Dior gloss and Fenty gloss bomb. Suqqu flawless gloss is really amazing, too - I’d recommend it ^^ (in fact I’d recommend a lot of Suqqu products - especially eyeshadows)

Love your videos. To me the most comfortable gloss is Westman atelier - I can’t believe how smooth it is and provides just the right amount of color! Sadly I did not like Lisa Eldridge gloss - I got it in Go Lightly and found it too sticky and did not like the smell … agree about Kosas they are great
my recommendation: shiseido - shimmer gelgloss. not many colours available, sadly, but it feels so good. I love the one in 07. it's my go-to.

I like the Fenty gloss bomb in Fu$$y; and my all time fave is Marc jacobs in rebel rebel- is a reddish brown with a very subtle shimmer that gives that just bitten, juicy look :)
Also Lunar Beauty lip glosses are so comfy too just wish they’d expand shade range

Hi Matilda, Fenty gloss bomb in hot chocolit has over taken the place of the original colour for me. Have you tried cheekbone beauty sustain gloss? It feels like a gloss balm to me - comfortable and nourishing.

If you are on a budget the clear essence shine shine shine gloss feels exactly like the tower 28, I just dab some liquid lipstick on top to tint it.

I know this is not your style so lost likely you will not, but would you consider doing lip swatches when you do lip videos? I find that textures present with more clarity on lips, with the shape, lines, and dryness etc offering that canvas to the lip items. Please consider this maybe since I love the way you do these videos and your descriptions.

@@matildaonvideo I honestly can’t tell a difference between the two. If I had to make a comparison, I’d say Noce has the tiniest hint of purple to it which is why it’s the perfect nude for me because my natural lip tone has a slight tinge of purple. But honestly, the two are almost identical. Should clarify- I mean I can’t tell the difference between caramel and noce moscato. Big difference between those two and Rose Naif;)
Now I have seven tabs open! The one I wouldn't be without is from a stalwart Japanese skincare brand, Rhoto Mentholatum. Their lip fondues are so lovely if you have thin skin that loses moisure easily. There are only a few colours and it's probably not worth ordering from abroad if you like waxy things, or consider the Laneige lip sleeping mask to be a waste of money. I think that product is divisive because people with thick skin and strong barriers don't get anything out of it, whereas simply wax, or petrolatum doesn't do much for those who need hydration. Just to be clear, the lip fondues are glosses in my opinion, but they could be considered balms as well, and aren't in luxurious packaging.

I believe Michelle did confirm that True Gloss has been discontinued on a recent live :( I never got to try it, but I wonder if the Nyx This is Milky Milkshakes glosses are similar? Some of the shades are VERY pigmented, and it's a very cushiony, comfy, almost gel-like formula! "Strawberry Horchata" is a GORGEOUS mlbb shade, and "Coquito Shake" is a sheer white-- great as a mixer to tone down other glosses!

The Fenty gloss made me believe in lip products again. I remember my lip gloss collection being insanely drying, sticky, and not even that shiny about 10 years ago. Lip balms time and time again made my lips feel drier after usage. The Gloss Bomb is the only lip product I've tried that actually helps my lips feel moisturized after I use it. Prior to Gloss Bomb I never used up any of my liquid lip products/lip balms, and yet I'm on my third tube of Gloss Bomb. If they ever discontinue it I will feel personally offended.

Thank you for watching! I always enjoy exploring luxury and indie brands so sadly I don't have as much experience with drugstore makeup, but I do have a Lifter Gloss! 😄✨ Nearly included it in this edit but the scent is a bit too strong for me so sadly I haven't used it that much x

I *live* for Lisa’s Blush gloss. But I’m desperate to know how to get the final 25% of the gloss out of the tube! The packaging style makes it impossible (but the price tag means I’ll never give up trying).

It’s good to use a long doe foot like ones from the Bobbi brown glosses or the Pat McGrath gloss! Or use tweezers to take the opening part of the gloss out

The tower28 glosses smell like oats or granola to me. I actually kind of like it.
I have several of the Fenty glosses and they are a bit sticky
Just suggested this to another commenter who found Fenty too thick - some of the formulas at the end of my Tinted Lip Oil video like MERIT and ILIA are thin and not sticky if that helps ☺️👍 x

Fenty is unbeatable for me! I actually just ran out 🥲 tower 28 left me quite disappointed: they are incredibly thin, too much for my liking. They feel more like a lip oil than a gloss
