This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen, it completely fixed my terrible front flip form and I haven’t been able to fix it for half a year now, thank you so much
So uhhhh plot twist: this all seems amazing I don’t have a soft surface to land on and I’m not dragging my mattress that I sleep on out of my dorm to a random patch of grass… If I fuck up on grass will I become a vegetable? Idgaf abiut a few bruises and scrapes but I wanna be able to move
Finally a tutorial that’s actually good! All the other ones are just saying to frontflip like u practiced on a trampoline but it doesn’t help.Thank you for the helpful information now i have the courage to go out and do this and hopefully i will be able to flip on the grass without any cushion( I followed instructions and i almost got it down the first day i tried)
It could be one of two things. Either lack of power/strength or improper technique (or both). A video would make it easy to spot which it is for better advice. Either way, good luck!
Just a question how likely is it for me to get hert doing this i really want to learn and at the same time a really want to walk and not be paralyzed lol
Pretty unlikely, with a pit full of foam (really soft surface) I like 4-6 years olds practice this unsupervised from standing (no running). 95% of injuries from front flips are knee to face, 5% are foot/ankle stuff. Never seen a neck injury's with front flips (I have from backflips)
If you're not properly warmed up then it will always happen. If it is happening after a proper warm up then I would assume its more of a disorientation than "dizziness" and yes that goes away with time and practice
@@reginefinseras6756 First things first: any video posted will make my advice 100x bettter. But without that I can say that there are a few things that could make landing difficult. 1st is trying to land like I do in the video, you will start with landing in a deep low froggy-type possision at first then with practice it will get better. 2nd is lack of power, all other things being the same, the faster you run, the higher your flip. (you need to be strong enough to handle the speed though). Lets see... lastly is to look at your technique, it is really easy to think you are doing the proper technique when you are really doing it either the intuitive way or a mix between proper and intuitive way. Hope this helps, I'd love to see a video.
Your knees do not need to touch your chest, if you pause the video when I am upside down, for most of the "tucked" portion my knees are about 6 inches from my chest/shoulders. When doing a front flip, your knees should naturally pull into this position, you just give them a little help and if it is "hard to pull them in" you are doing it too late or too early. That being side, these are the things you need to do in order of importance: 1: Get your butt over your head, 2: Run hard and punch with straight legs, 3: Swing arms up at the beginning, 4: Tuck body properly

Send a video and I'll help. Or else I can only guess. It could be any of the 5 ways I mentioned in the tutorial.
