Very nice video, commentary...and the slab...I must do the slab. Did all that just yesterday. your video has a very good mix of great views, speed, commentary, and the super geeky overlays. Well done. you will have even more fun when you hit more of the features. Still learning them myself.
Nice trail, but either boring or a pain to get to the good sections of trail. Today I accessed it from Bugling Elk in Staunton State Park and first you have to ride a mile of gravel road with some steep grades and loose rock. But then after that, climbing the North Elk Creek drainage is fun although there are a lot more exposed rocks now 2 years after the video was shot due to water erosion. Still a lot of fun. I call this a "one and done" type of trail. It was enjoyable, but not enough to put up with the gravel road getting there.
Do you agree that the trail is much more fun in person than as it appears in the video? This one perplexed me as I thought it great fun but then when reviewing the video it didn’t come off that way. 🤷♂️
Greetings from Maine. Thank you for all the wonderful content. Headed to CO at the end of the month going to hit the big three (Fruita, Moab and Crested Butte). Anything else you'd recommend? Maybe something not necessarily known for its tech but the views are incredible.
Thank you. To ride hard means I need to know the trail well. Many of these vids are first time rides of the system so they’re on the mellower side. Plus as it’s all on video I try to promote sensible riding practices. I don’t always get it right, but I try 😀
How did I get here? See th-cam.com/video/is5ope4LuRY/w-d-xo.html

Awesome! Thank you!
Loving these vids. I'm going to be in this area for a couple weeks this summer. Your videos are helping me plan my rides. Thanks, mate!
Thanks. That helps to motivate me to work though my summer backlog!
Great vid! Can’t wait to ride this trail enduro-style downhill! Might even skid around some corners...
Thank you! I know you’re joking but please don’t skid! I don’t want to get in trouble with the Gov’ment for promoting such illicit traits. 😆

Interesting to hear how it has changed. It's kind of an orphaned trail that you can combine as an out'n'back with Cub trail.
nice work on the video. i rode that trail this past weekend. sweet trail

Curt Pearce Crested Butte easy: The 401. Also check out Lupine and Snodgrass (has seasonal closures). There there’s Doctor Park.
Dig your video, seems like you rode with care to me ,
