They use a gas mixture (co2 and other gases), which is excited by the electrical pulses.

Does an RF tube better handle the low range. On my 80w CO2 Glass tube, I don't have any usable power below 12-15% and I would like to have lower power at size and speed of a full size laser, vs smaller and slower diode or UV options.
