Thanks for review. The question I would have is the cap hanging in the wind flapping. Having had deer spook as I was trying to film and the cap start to bang against scope you would think the folks with this idea would have provided a quick way to stick it so the scope out of the wind. Good stuff tho.
Thank you. One question - do you use the photo app that comes standard with phone? Or, have you discovered another one that works better for digiscoping with the ollin adaptor.
I was wondering if It throws it off when you zoom on your iPhone since they switch to the other camera does it make it so you cannot see through the scope?
It's a awesome gadget we all love them, but I'll need to wait for a couple more manufacture's. I've a Motorola edge 20 Pro brilliant camera phone and a Leupold Gold Ring spotting scope little bit older scope but still has very nice glass. Once they really get going hopefully they'll get a few more design's...
@@Eric_Chesser I get it and don't doubt it's a great product but my vortex isn't the $2k and I use a older phone to scope with. On a budget not the product for everyone. I hope they do amazing and then can afford to make a more budget friendly variant. Eric I know you and I believe in your integrity and know you would not endorse a product you didn't stand behind. Didn't mean to come across rude just honest.
Cool product, but not for $200 bucks with tax. Also, awesome set up, but for the money invested you could get better results with a camera and telephoto lens.
Eric, have you found that it changes the eye relief of the scope at all and how comfortable is the eye piece(hard edges, etc) when it's up to your eye? I run a Swarovski ATX so it slightly different than your Vortex. I really like the idea of the product and seems really well thought out. I do agree it is a little pricey.
The adapter is comfortable. I still use it with it on and glass/spot as usual. It’s friction fit so you can pull it off easy enough. But I like to keep it on so it’s always there’s and it’s fast to film when needed
Dude, you need to start using a 3 way geared head on your tripod. You will NEVER go back to a ball or any other style again. If you're shooting from your tripod then the ball head is great, but for glassing or "digiscoping" you NEED a geared head for your tripod.

Any idea when Ollin will have an adapter for a Vortex Viper? Older and new gen?
Do you know when they will release iPhone 14 options? Have a 14 pro max and need this asap for a coues hunt in late oct. no phone number on their site
Excited to get one of them

Thanks for the great info Eirc! Do you know if and when they will release a kit for binoculars?
Great product tip, thanks Eric for your evaluation of product you've already tried 👍
Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to using this product I just need it to be leupold spotting scope adapter.
Coming soon!

Absolutely 👌🏻
Great idea and cool product…it will be a while before I’m purchasing but hope they do great 👍
Need one for the vortex gen1
Is it better than the phone skope?
IMO yes 👍
Was excited to check it out until I saw the price! I will take the inconvenience of phone scope for that price.
couple thousand dollar scope, a thousand dollar phone and....

When I can afford it I’m all in!
I like it! Just skip one tank of gas lol
need this for my gen 1 razor
It's too bad they don't make an option for my phone or spotting scope 🙃
Not for all!!! No adapter for the Leica Televid 62 or leupold Gold Ring 20-60x80? Bummer.

I hope they'll do an exchange program for phone cases, most of us upgrade our phones every 1-2 years
Looks sweet but $175 is ridiculous
No worries use code “Eric” and it’s less 👌🏻
Love the product but not sure it is worth the price point.
Ah man, just think a phone and scope is already $2-$3k so what’s $160 to capture video and pics straight to your phone?

Hi, Which 3 way geared head would you recommend? I've got a Sirui am 284 tripod and a 65 mm Vortex Harrier scope
They only have cases for iPhone or Samsung...... Kinda lame
