I wonder if you have 8 players you could split up into two teams and each team 5 of 1 color mini boards. So then its adds a race element to trying to beat the other team, while both teams are trying to not lose to the lie-brarian. That would be a pretty neat thing if it is not already, worth trying out I reckon.
It's hillarious to me that the comments about the 'grey score graphics over greenish background not being visible' were heard, and we got that super loud yellow :-D It's like 'how you like them apples now, ha???' It's certainly readable now. Ugly as heck and I'm basically blind now from the light energy emitted by the bright yellow color, but I'll take readable every day.
Tom reviewed 'What's My Word' over 10 years ago. That game is from 1972, according to BGG, and also has a "Mastermind + Word Game" feel to it. Surprised he didn't mention it here.
Interesting twist on an idea that that been reimplemented many times already. Also the students at school still like playing Wordle every morning, and occasionally Globle, Antiwordle, etc
I missed Tom just giving a breakdown of what he thought about the components after showing the game. I have ‘A Little Wordy’, a 2 player Wordle-like game with card powers, but I think the draw here is that it can be played with a few more players. I haven’t played this one yet, but when I heard that the clue giver would be LYING to you, I thought it sounded kind of impossible. Would like to try this one out for sure.
This could be fun, but I'm not sure you need the game- you can easily just play with pens and paper, couldn't you? You can also play it alone online, as it's very similar (if not identical) to an online game called Fibble. I have some videos on my channel where I (try to) solve them, along with tons of other Wordle variants (apologies for the shameless self-promotion, hope I'm not breaking any rules!)
One rule that Tom left out is that the Lie-brarian gives the guessers a free letter at the start that is in the word but not it's location.
But is it only available in Barnes & Noble? Per the Allplay website it says so. But how will international board gamers ever get this.

This game is soooo fun!! I had a chance to play with some pals a bit ago. So much fun for both sides!
Thank you Tee Garcia!

I don’t know….I play Wordle every day, but this game doesn’t interest me. I do like the verses from books though.
Not a big fan of word games but the 10 minute timer per round seems too long to make this a fun filler or party game
What an annoying name. Cannot google where to buy it :P
