I walk on my cedar roof wearing korkers (you know, those with metal spikes). How do you walk on these synthetic shingles? Did you install those made by Brava? What's the difference?
I have read through Cedurs website n looked at all the gallery pics n their products. I have yet to see anything regarding venting or ridge vents. Is there something from them or do we source that out from box stores?
The figures you spoke of are 100% accurate. I priced a square of davinci synthetic shake at around $600/sq, a square of real grade 1 cedar shake is right at $1000/sq! 🤯insane in my opinion

Why would the cost be the same? I've been reading that Faux cedar is about 60% of what cedar costs.
