What's funny is I discover a lot of songs through Sabrina because of her covering them. I knew of the song beforehand, but I didn't actually listen to the original until after. Her covers definitely make me appreciate songs more.❤
steven!!!! ahhhh!!! i was so excited for your reaction to this album. i’m such a fan of your genuine reactions. you’re so real. it’s so appreciated.🫶 sending love
I must be the only person on the planet that doesn't love this. I mean it wasn't awful let me be clear, but it didn't showcase her voice well at all. She struggled to get any kind of power out of those high notes. Chappell does it with ease. I like Sabrina Carpenter's voice for what it is, but I don't think she's all that versatile. It lacks power where I'd want it on a song. None of these pop girlies are really giving me the powerful high notes. Chappell kinda reignited the pop vocals and I hope we're done with the subpar soft vocals with catchy modern beats.
It’s a great cover but lacks some of the emotional depth of the original. She’s an amazing singer though, I do enjoy her voice a lot. You just can’t beat being a lesbian singing a song specifically for lesbians like Chappell does lol.
Like yes the emotions are different but it isn’t lacking lmao. Sabrina is almost so over it she’s mocking the person. Chappell is heartbroken about it. That’s what covers are supposed to do.
@@valentinafangirling that may have been what she was going for, but people have opinions lol. i agree with OP though, a non-lesbian singing it just wont hit the same as Chappell Roan has that experience.
@@samiyahbolton4613 I'm just as confused as you are because Sabrina doesn't need to be a lesbian to sing a song that's about heart break which is a feeling everyone one can relate to regardless of sexual preference
@@ramonajavier5938 boiling it down to just a heartbreak song is the first error. This song is much more about a toxic queer mindset than heartbreak. SC just lacks the soul that Chappell infused into it.
We need more Olivia Rodrigo reactions immediately like you can do some of her live performances like the grudge ,logical, and etc but also react to her cover of creep and mama knows bets
This cover scratches my brain just right I wish she’d put it on Spotify
i uploaded it to my apple music. it went #1 on the work charts
Some people uploaded it on Spotify, I had em saved, but the audio has been changed.
@@AN-bw6is pls link it to me
I love when artists don’t try to just “out do” each other on a cover, instead they change up the style and give you something a little bit different.
Her voice has so much control for being live and not auto-tuned.
This cover made me love the song i just love so much her voice
I feel you on her intro. Her voice was beautiful and you know she meant every word. Very lovely.
The “even if you call it looove” part stays stuck on a loop in my brain
You're so right about how much magic people create if they just wouldn't be so divisive and would focus energy on coming together instead 🌟
Can we start calling her “Dolly Pocket” instead of Polly Pocket?
“i wanna hear your version of the original” YES YOU GET IT
Ive been watching you react to her since day one and im so happy you've been a fan of her all along 🫠🙏🏻❤
4:44 Steven's face lmaoo he's like: do y'all hear this magic sh*t??? 😂😂😂
5:30 Oh, she broke him 💀💀
Yesss I was obsessed with this and watched it so many times

I want to see Sabrina do more country. She’s got the voice like young Shania Twain and looks like young Dolly Parton. That’s as country as it gets
I love the SC version! 💖
the song is so good and her cover of it is just everything
5:59 looking like a proud dad 😭
I'm reminded of that Country version of Born This Way.

Dude you gotta watch Chappell performing Good Luck, Babe on the tonight show!!!
