Coming Soon: Part II - Cities on the Black Sea (Sozopol, Nessebar & Varna) & Part III - Bulgaria's Historical Cities (Veliko Turnovo, Koptrivchisa, Karlovo and Belogradchik.) Thanks for visiting our channel! Lek Den!
Thank you, such a wonderful country ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for promoting our country. Trust me, Bulgaria is full of interesting places to see. Be blessed whereever your road leads you to.
Thank you for your kind comment! Its was such a pleasure to spend time in Bulgaria. In fact, I'm planning another trip with my family there soon, even teaching them some Bulgarian phrases like "edin hlab molya." :) All the best!
@@parks4lifeHaha very nice. I think the Rhodopi mountains is one of the most majestic places in Bulgaria. Also the Kardzhali area full of nature and Devin with the waterfalls and hikes because I see you are a sportsman. Burgas also became pretty cool, you can visit it in June and see their Sea Garden and new 3D Planetarium. Finally, recommend Belogradchick Rocks it is a very unique area. But the list goes on and on, because Bulgaria always surprises (at least me) and is full of interesting places especially if you are a nature freak lol. I tavel a lot around the country and always find something new! I hope your family like Bulgaria! Stay healthy and welcome back anytime!😊
Thank you for your suggestions! I do enjoy the outdoor activities in Bulgaria, Belogradchik was a highlight when we went for sure. But I'll have to check out Devin and the Krdzhali area, I don't think i've been there yet. Take care!
Beautifully shot and very nicely presented! Thank you!!!
Thank you for your nice feedback! It feels good to hear! FYI, in the next week I'm publishing part II of this series where we visit a couple cities on the Black Sea (Sozopol, Nessebar and Varna). I'd love to hear your feedback on that one as well! Take care!
A lovely insight into Bulgaria - Nice video too- well done.
Thank you for the kind comment! Looks like you have some great content as well! Cheers!
@@parks4life Thanks! Keep up the good work.
You as well!!
Very well done and great to have insights of someone who lived there
It was really great to read your comment @joshdlewis. It’s always great to hear from one of our loyal fans! We hope this video will warm your heart now and for years to come. Very truly yours, the Parks 4 Life team.
As a Bulgarian I'm so thankful you liked our culture and country
Merci Mnogo for your comment! Bulgaria is truly is one of the most beautiful places I've been. I've only been as far north as Varna on the black sea, but I'll definitely check out Balchik next time i am there. It sure looks beautiful! All the best!
@@parks4life Thankyou, I hope you enjoy it when you come visit again! Успех във всичко занапред!
Excellent video 👍
Good info and as always, some tourist selfies, thanks!
Got to get those selfies! :) Thanks for the comment!
💛...amazing...
Thank you! Cheers!
Bulgaria just looks fascinating.
Not to be humble, but there's so much to see in Bulgaria
suglasen! Its a vast country with an amazing history!
🇧🇬⌚
Eh great, nice video + just to add i like how the title is "we lived 2 years in..." as if 2 years = 2 days and time is nothing :).
Yeah, that's totally true, haha!
And sometimes i wonder, why do you focus on Sofia? Yes, it is our capital, but we have so much you can see, like Plovdiv, Rousse, the old places in Vidin (Bdin)... i can't even begin to explain how wonderful are the bulgarian cities
The video starts in Sofia, but we actually did highlight staria grad in Plovidiv in the video (stop #3) and Rila Monestary as well. We're working on a second video with highlights three cities on the black Sea and a third video where we visit veliko turnovo, belogradchik, vasil levski's birthplace and more! I really agree with you, Bulgaria is a wonderful country. Thanks for your comment! vsichko hubavo!
You started your Sofia video with photos from Ruse on the Danube .
Thanks for your comment! Yeah, the intro is a collage of different places around Bulgaria, got some Sozopol, Varna, even Pernik in there. Vsichko Hubovo!
Learning the language in 2 years... Do you have some examples of you speaking? Would love to hear that :)
Thanks for the comment! In our next video we travel to a small village called Koprivchitsa and we walk around the old town in traditional bulgarian clothing, speaking some Bulgarian. Its a beautiful language, similar in many ways to Russian, but also quite different.
@@parks4life Are you specifically mentioning PART-2? I examined it, and at the 6:41 timestamp, an individual mentioned, "I think I'll have the chocolate and banana," using the Bulgarian terms for "chocolate & banana." Could you confirm if this is the example you are referring to, or if there is another instance I might have overlooked? Would love to see the clip and specify the location within it. Just curious as I want to learn the language someday. Thank you.
No, sorry, i was talking about Part 3, which I haven't published yet, but will in the next month or so. My friend and I have a short conversation about being Bulgarian boys and joke about my shoes. We didn't speak Bulgaria to the camera so much, but I could do another video about learning the Bulgarian language if that's of interest. It took me about 6 months to become fluent in conversational Bulgarian and I was there about 2 years.
@@parks4life Thank you for the clarification. I'll patiently await part-3. On a related note, I recently discovered an individual on TH-cam who uses the platform to practice speaking Bulgarian. After six months, did you reach a proficiency level comparable to this guy or even surpass it? I'm just curious to gauge what might be achievable: th-cam.com/video/dNbEG709T98/w-d-xo.html
@@parks4life 6 months to fluency, Is that a C2 level? Looking forward to the 3rd episode... Any idea about when I should start watching for it?
