Yh. Example Audi S3 and the golf R are nearly identical, except golf r is better. But RS3,4,5,7 and R8 are different beasts
and skoda , skoda octavia has the same chasis like golf 8 gti same motor 2.0tsi, and it cost 13.000 euros less
Golf 8 GTI sounds better, has better handling and is faster off the line compared to octavia vrs. The 2.0 TSI octavia vRS does not cost 13,000 euro less, it costs about the same as golf GTI.
@@ervaunal1054 new octavia vrs cost 31.000 and the golf gti mk8 44.000 ( but with worst interior configuration) sound is the same , is the same engine same euxhast ( you can look the references) or comparacion in carwow chanel, faster in line yes because off better 0-100 but roling octavia is faster, so if you think that pay 13 euros more to have 0,2s faster 0-100km...

Ga eerst maar even een paar rijlessen nemen. Daarna als je weet wat normaal rijden is, rij je naar een circuit waar je je als een malloot mag gedragen. Maar doe dat niet op de openbare weg.

It's funny... cars looked cool but the interiors were terrible. Now the interiors are cool, but the exteriors are quite unresolved. Though this Golf looks good in GTI clothes.

Good car except the € price. €50k could buy some brand new 340i or second hand X5 normal 40i.
Yeah but insurance and maintenance on those vehicles are much higher as well. At least in the USA. Even if price is similar to a used higher end car. You get better warranty, lower insurance, and lower maintenance costs going for a new GTI. Plus the added security that it's a new car, not something used that may give you unexpected problems.
