Just picked up this tank and was thinking of doing a custom paintjob on it with the airbrush. Maybe add some weathering and the likes as well!

Look at companies like "Taigen","Torro","Mato" Heng long it's most cheap tanks.
Taigen Torro and Mato are really good
The 2 dislikes were Shermans who got knocked out by a panther .

I just purchased this tank. I found the upper hull just behind the turret was warped, and the turret didn't "sit" quite right. Overall nice tank!

The tube mounted on the upper left hull carried the rods to clean the bore of the main gun.

1 - significantly more Panthers were operational and fielded in WWII than Tigers. 2 - both auxiliary machine guns were 7.92×57mm Mauser, not 7.62. 3 - Panther models Ausf. A and Ausf. G wasn't any less reliable than their allied counterparts.

I've read on a forum that the tracks of the Panzer's and Panther's threw off fairly easily. Is that true?
@@MotionRC The track's is steel, whereas the allied track's was steel and rubber, German track's wore out about 200 miles and they were probe to slipping off from Time to time. U ⛵ commander.

@@darrin7684 T-34s reliable? You’re having a giggle mate. They had an operational range of about 30 miles before their engines collapsed, and their transmissions broke with such alarming regularity crews often carried a spare into battle on their back deck.

The tube on the side is for cleaning equpiment and tools for the main gun
Not to be mean, but the Panther Ausf. G had a weight around 45 (kilogram) tons, and the Tiger 1 had a weight around 54 tons. Wich means that the Panther was considered as a medium tank, and the Tiger was considered as a heavy tank. Just to tell you the truth about the Panther Ausf. G.
I'd check the front suspension. There might be something wrong with it and that's why it's leaning down so much
IN THE ACTUAL TANK YES IT DID SIT LOW ON THE FIRST THREE BOGGIES DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE GUN AND WEAR AND TEAR ON THE TORSION BARS. U BOAT COMMANDER 157.
I just noticed that you left it turned on while assembling the tank! It was looking for the transmitter the whole time. Nice review though!!

Panther G was and is the most reliable model made, you keep referring to the Panther D which was very unreliable and the A being only slightly better.
Love it can u fix the leaned in the front because when I took a look at the panther G Never leaned like that

When permanently gluing the external decorations/details, what glue can you use that works with plastics and other toy materials, the super glues i've used over the counter are not too effective. May I ask if you have any suggestions and links. I appreciate your help in advance.
Is this the Upgrade Version for the TK.0 Panther G or the Professional version? Metal barrel? I know you maybe said it but I'm not sure which one?/
The 'proportional' drive system is realistic and definitely worth the extra cost right there. Is it possible to upgrade the Heng Long Panther F or G with a H/G Motherboard and Sound Card to give it more realistic engine and cannon firing sounds?
Only difference with Prof. version is steel tracks.

I mean the Suspensions is to Softly, the First Suspensions on Left and right Sides Front Armor ( Hull) most by Stronger ! not Softly (Jagdpanther and Panther G RC Modell )
You can remedi that doing a new hole inside (where the first suspension ) and you give more torsion . Do this with the first two weels of boot sides
@@javiercordobasomovilla4911 But not if it is the 4th generation of RC models! They already have two holes in the tub (low hull) for the first swing arm, you just have to change the spring left and right from soft to hard. Heng Long has already solved the problem
I just got one of these, but when I fire the gun it only shoots when the gun is facing the right side and only sometimes other sides is this normal?
If I buy one can they send it to Mexico ?

Well, Germany was rushing the panther designs off the production line and if they used neutral turn the transmission would snap and that tube is a snorkel for the engine
Mine came with a flashlight and binoculars there not on the instructions so I have no idea where they go

I agree, and do the same for all their long barrel tanks, like the T90, T72, Abrams, etc. Haya has this feature on their Chieftain, great idea.

Have never heard it called a Pantiger, has similar suspension to Tiger 1 , but Panther first outside road wheel is farther back on suspension
Can confirm pantiger on a few forums though not able to really tell. Finally found wat I think is a gen 3 panther from 2015 or 17..... all working besides the gun.

Heng long made another Panther even tank that is like a Frankenstein between a Panther and a tiger.
The PanTiger is roughly made out to look like the Panther II, which was an experimental tank. It was a hybrid tank and currently is located at the Patton museum. There is a very good video on it here on TH-cam.

@@MotionRC do I need to remove the tracks? The smoke generator never worked either i followed the instructions to the letter on priming it but nothing. I guess when I finally disassemble it I can check it out
that tube held the barrel bor cleaning tools
The front suspension is sitting to low...torsion bars aren't beefy enough to take the tanks weight.

Correct and I think there is something wrong with the tiers on the wheels as it looks too rounded when it is quite square actually, I know because I have the original one next to me in my office, not the real Panther unfortunately! Finally, for that price it is really missing the periscope, very noticeable also on the Königtiger as well.
I've read in a few forums that the panther and tiger 1 share the same basic chassis....... could cause the issues with that.

Yes, they come in 2 versions, 1 with mostly plastic parts and 1 with more metal. Check the links in the description

@@thomasjewell6951 it was used and I figured it out 😅 just need the bag of parts with the shovels and stuff in it.
Buttons left and right depressed together should produce the desired effect or depressing right button and left controll lever should work.

Glad you figured it out and keep it,you can weather it add details etc. I have the Russian T-90MBT and I spent some time on it and everyone's opinion is that it is too real looking and some are a little fearful of it. Hen long is NOT a bad Tank just look online and see how you would like to paint and weather your Tank and enjoy it! U boat commander...

Sorry you are incorrect the Panther G was as awesome on paper as it was in real life the Aust A had problems which was first used at Kursk and had many mechanical breakdowns however these were fixed by the time the G version came out

The turret and driving can be as slow or fast as you want, just depends on how hard you move the sticks
7.92 the Germans didn’t use 7.62 small arm machine guns. So next German tank video on WW2 German tanks they fired the 7.92 in the coaxial machine gun and loaders machine gun round k. Great job other wise.

I have this tank, it’s nice. Faults; the tank is geared to high, unrealistic speeds. The paint job is awful, I repainted mine. Decals are junk.

@14:40 had a good chuckle at the shoving and pulling of those lightweight models across the table while casually holding onto the barrel - Not likely going to happen with my E-100 ( th-cam.com/video/l3_RcOU3zo0/w-d-xo.html ) weighting in at roughly 6kg fully loaded... In a size comparison shot with my other 1/16 scale models it also pretty much dwarves anything but the Leopard 2A7+ in most dimensions: i.imgur.com/NC8woLh.jpg
