Bob Eubanks is my favorite "Card Sharks" host. He and Barker didn't just share a dressing room; they also shared Studio 33 at CBS Television City. Whenever the ten audience survey members appeared, they stood where Contestants' Row would be.

I don't know if it is possible for one human being to have more charisma than Bob. He was such an influential figure in the business and did so many things in his life. He's also a great storyteller and his outlook is so genuine and refreshing. I love these interviews.

There is a story on Bob E's Wikipedia page how Bob outfoxed Michael Moore . Bob E tells a non PC joke that Michael M could have easily edited out since the joke served no relevance to the documentary. The purported reason Michael Moore asked Bob to appear in the film was because Bob was born in Flint Michigan therefore "relevant" for the demise of the GM . The joke was on Michael Moore because Bob is a large financial contributor to help the subjects of the "joke",. but what the heck while were at it let's slam the guest without any fact checking.Hmmm, must just be a one time slip-up because Michael Moore cares about all of us and always gets his story straight.
I apologize in advance for this digression, guess I'm getting too old?
PS Love Bob Eubanks, the original King of Cool! Someone who outed Michael Moore for the hack he is even before I learned to dislike Mr. Moore

BeaTles "broke up" in April, 1970, when Paul announced it.
They actually broke up when John announced it to the group in 1968.
John made it official in 1969 AFTER "Let It Be" was written and recorded in January, 1969.
But Paul asked him, as did Allen Klein, to keep it quiet, mostly due to a new contract Klein was rigging up!👀
So, I guess Eubanks' comment about the song and the breakup depend on which of the three final breakups he was referring.........

Anyone that thinks he was being creepy way back then is definitely looking through the lenses of today's cancel culture...
It wasn't like that then..he was a perfectly charming and we'll mannered man.
The producers wanted him to be incidious but he wouldn't.. that's the problem with looking back...you can't compare the two..

    2:42 rascal (n.)mid-14c.,
rascaile "people of the lowest class, rabble of an army," also singular, "low, tricky, dishonest person," from Old French rascaille "rabble, mob" (12c., Modern French racaille,
"the rascality or base and rascall sort, the scumme, dregs, offals,
outcasts, of any company" [Cotgrave, French-English Dictionary, 1611]),
perhaps a diminutive from Old French rascler, from Vulgar Latin *rasicare "to scrape" (see rash (n.))

Everyone needs to take a good look at Card Sharks...it was probably never thought of much back then, but Bob’s pretty creepy towards some of the contestants & models. Even some of his remarks and giggling regarding the questions the contestants are given seem strange and ill mannered to say the least. I wonder if Bob would have been a part of the #MeToo movement.😬
