  • It's hard to imagine not carrying the internet in your pocket these days.
In this video I unbox the Nokia 7110 which holds the title of first mobile phone to feature a dedicated mobile web browser.
Join me back in 1999 as I test drive and review this unique little device with features that really packed a punch for it's time.
Along with the unboxing I also have an original TV commercial for the phone to show you so sit back and enjoy the video!

I've just switched from a 3310 to this as my daily use phone, sold my iPhone last year! One of the best phones I've used, simple, user friendly and it looks awesome!

Had two in my life. Bought the third now, just to leave the smartphone at home more. More time for important things.. Great review.

Hello! I was doing a research for my university and then I found your video. While your unboxing I felt as if I was reviewing the phone by my own eyes! Such a great video and audio quality. You're so lucky to have found this important history's piece on that excellent condition. Good job! Keep it up! New sub here :)

Thank you for all the great reviews of vintage Nokia phones! I've got a decent collection of Nokia phones from the 90s and early noughties, but first of all I don't have any of the original boxes left, second I'm really camera shy and thus won't be able to review them properly. 😅
Your facts are well researched, video quality is top notch and I especially enjoy the close-up shots. Keep 'em coming!
    Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

Hello ITX, greetings from down here in Australia!
Thank you for the kind words and for checking out my channel. It's very much appreciated. :)
I love reviewing the old tech especially the Nokia's from the 90's and early 2000's, I guess it's because it brings back fond memories of good times past. :)
I'm just in the process of moving house and once I get set up again my next unboxing will be the original and indestructible Nokia 3310 which as a fellow Nokia enthusiast I'm sure you will remember. ;)
In the meantime all the best my friend and if you ever change your mind about creating a video of your collection be sure to let me know!

New subscriber i have just received one of these the other day in the box with the charger, handsfree and direction books. Its like brand new not a scratch it takes my O2 sim card and I've just found out that when i call out i can hear them but they cant hear me so i tried the handsfree and works great with that. Thinking it must be the mic thats blooked but scared to open it up. 😬

Hello lifeversity. Many thanks for the kind words and for subscribing to the channel!
Most of the phones and retro game items featured I have collected over many years of hunting.
I mostly find them either at my local retro stores or on eBay and Gumtree.
The collection continues to grow and I will certainly be showing them all off in future videos.
At this stage I'm in the process of moving house and buying a new lighting set up to improve the quality of the videos but will be back in action soon.
I will add the P800 and NEC phones to my hunting list.
Hope to feature one of those in a video for you soon.

I got one when it was released and it is still one of my favourite phones I own, minus the fact that it has been unusable with the network since man yearsand really annoying t9 system!
Unfortunately mine has the plastic keys being sticky age syndrome and I don't have a charger for it!
    Thanks for the video!

@@mutunvilkku6006 This phone is a 2g phone, if you live in a country that still supports 2g then you will still be able to make calls with it, but if you were to go to a country that doesn't support 2g, your phone would effectively be useless aside from being a collectors item.
