Or perhaps honored our country’s founders, who many died so you could say this right here? When UK King ruled, NO person-American or British, could speak publicly yet alone spark against the king without imprisonment or guillotine . Try visiting Philadelphia and the highly respected guards of Independence Hall where everyone tries to sit in the chair Gen. Washington sat ( there’s a worn area) and guards, police must stop them. Hundreds a day challenge the guards. Or how about the Guards -National Guards- who stand 24/7, 365 days/year including snow, sleet and rain with below freezing or scorching heat at Valley Forge, PA., how about the drives of not only Americans but foreigners too who are verbally instructed as well as posted permanent signs and try to enter the White House Driveway? Ever visited there? Those guards also are challenged daily by ignorant people with zero respect! No they don’t have horses but the harassment is identical- photo after photo ,” don’t touch the items behind the velvet tiles !” Or “keep away from the electric fence you could get hurt..” but people still challenge them. Get out and visit your own country some day. It’s THE BEST ! I have visited all 50 states ! Such a gorgeous, free country!

Yeah the disposition of these animals is amazing. I've been around horses a time or two and always been warned not to approach too close without either an escort or at least let the horse come to you and make sure there is a fence between the horse and you. A neighbor of a friend of mine kept half a dozen horses on her property. My friend had been invited on a regular basis to offer treats to the horses and so once a week my friend would buy a ten pound bag of apples and offer them and most of the time the horses ran over for their treats. I was very nervous coming within three feet of the fence with an apple in my hand. These tourists are approaching these horses the way one approaches a statue to feel how smooth the marble is.

@@jimmieroan9881 ~ Why do you throw personal insults at someone who was defending at least the perception of the right of free speech?
Only, the UK doesn't tolerate free speech. The Public Order Act (2023) has given awful powers to law enforcement to restrict the right to protest, or even congregate ~ and Sunak is trying to broaden the police powers even more. You think it fair the police can arrest on the sole basis of what they 'deem' as disruptive? So much scope that they removed protest placards from private vehicles before they were even used by protesters?
The right to 'peaceful protest' has disappeared under UK Tory rule, and Sunak wants to extend those police powers to allow the suppression of the public voice at whim. The UK/Tory parliament's removal of civil rights is a big discussion point amongst those in the judicial systems of free world democracies.
The guy's 'babbling' was easily understood, he made no incitements of violence ~ he was protesting at the numerous personal links many members of the royal family have with known child abusers. It's fair comment; the majority of the British public are against their taxes being used to support a family who paid £12M to cover over the abuse of an underage girl by a member who still holds the position and power of Counsellor of State.

It gives me such anxiety to see how many people are so clueless about touching an animal that is not familiar with them. It would be very hard for me to be in the crowd and try not to tell people LOOK BUT DO NOT TOUCH. Much respect to the men, women and horses of The King’s Guard. Thank you for your service. Back in the day people had it hard and they worked their backside off to have things like a dress outfit for church and shoes.
