It was Worth the wait for another in depth review Jason!! Gosh this cabinet looks amazing. The design, the color, the art work and the monitor screen. I have my street fighter legacy cabinet which I love, but this one is so tempting in adding it to my collection. Great review as always Jason. Really like how you give a bit of background to each game. Street Fighter was never my jam; I'm more of a MK fan, but I can certainly appreciate the effort put into this cab.

My son loves street fighter and I would love to give him one for Christmas this year as a present. We don’t own any arcades and I got no clue. Which one you think is the best street fighter from all? There are so many options! Thanks a lot
@@leonelsarmiento7 I would go with the newest one which is the Street Fighter ll Champion Edition HS-5 Deluxe model. It’s the version that’s all one piece without the riser.
Thank you so much for your feedback :) is the street fighter II champions a newer version compared to the Yoga Flame? Here in Switzerland we got available only 3 options unfortunately, the yoga flame edition, the X-Men vs Street fighter II and the one you recommended me. For a 10 years old boy what would you go for? As you can see I have no clue about these games :-/ thank you so much again and sorry to bother you
The arcade era in the 90's was truly awesome, what made it special was there was a place you could go to play games you couldn't play at home. I literally lived in the arcades in my childhood. I got the MK2 cabinet already and I'm wanting to get this one soon. Can anyone tell me what the 'live' button on this cabinet does?
Loving the video review of the yoga flame Sf 35th anniversary cabinet. The selection of arcade games are really nice, especially the shoot-em ups like Progear which I have never heard of before but I'm glad that you covered it as it looks solid in my opinion and beat-em ups like Captain Commando. The only question remains is are you ready to get the Marvel vs Capcom 2 arcade cabinet for preorder next month on September 8th? I'm so excited and ready to purchase this all time favorite and includes all of the Marvel vs games in addition to Mvc2. Great review of the yoga flame Sf 35th anniversary cabinet! Looking forward in seeing what at home arcade cabinet that you'll share with us next! Take care Jason!
Thanks so much xXhiwakaXx, I always appreciate you checking out the videos! I’m definitely getting the MVC2 cabinet, I can’t wait for that to come out next month. The two shooters are on this cabinet are awesome especially Pro Gear!
Thanks Mikey J Productions, much appreciated my brother! I’m so glad they changed up the game lineup on here from the previous Capcom Legacy cab. Definitely a nice collection of games 👍
I think Battle Circuit was never released in arcades in the U.S. but its a rare oddity and awesome it was included on this cab, just wish they would put my favorite capcom shooter 1943 on one of these cabs
Would be really cool to see a 1943 cabinet from Arcade1up. I think that game is popular enough where they could make its own cab. I’d definitely be interested in that 👍

If I get either of these, I will be upgrading the controller, so that part would be a wash. I like the look of both equally. Is the control deck height an issue on either of these if playing on a stool?
Hey thanks for checking out the video! I’d go with YF over BB although both are great machines. The sticks on my YF are definitely better and I personally like the games on YF a little more. I don’t really notice any difference on the game play on SF2 with the PCB. Control deck height is fine on both but I give the edge to YF on that as well.
@@3rdFloorArcade I was lucky to find both of these used nearby...so I picked up BOTH lol. I've played on both of them now and I actually like the BB much better. I noticed that BB is much more comfortable if I play sitting on the stool. I also didn't notice any difference in performance, input lag, etc. The controller feels slightly better on YF, but I will be swapping these out. Also, the lit control deck and big marquee on BB make it look so nice when I play at night haha! Thanks for your reply!
@@3rdFloorArcade I'm hyped! The only cab i have (not counting my ALP) and it's amazing. Super high quality.
I'd love to have my own yoga flame street fighter cabinet Jason It looks awesome I really like the art work on the side and the marquee on the top 🆒🆒👊👊
I wish I had bought this cab instead of modding my 1up cab. This has a nice enough assortment of games. My modded cab has 1000's but it's been giving me headaches with all of a sudden missing bios. And with a modded cab it's complicated for kids and guests to just turn on and play. This stock cab is a lot more user friendly. Probably going to sell it and get this Yoga Flame or the Hadoken.
The Yoga Flame is a great cab, probably my favorite that I own. If you sell your modded one, I’m sure you could get some decent money for it. Thanks for checking out the review 👍
This is the new one that just came out. They have two new versions, this one and also the blue Hadoken version. They both have the same game lineups but just different cabinet artwork and marquee. 👍
Jason, Ah, to have the room :( The only way I could justify picking this one up is if I already didn't have Big Blue, or if I had a "3rd Floor Arcade" :) I'm hoping someday for a Big Blue 2 with all the Capcom games Arcade1up has released so far. If their track record continues, it'll happen in the next year or so. Fingers crossed :) vgv
Thanks for checking out the video Videogame Vegas, I really appreciate that! A second Big Blue would be pretty cool, I could definitely see them making that at some point. 👍
It’s tough to pick one over the other. The blue Super Street Fighter ll Turbo cab might have the edge in terms of looks. But I love both the marquee games the same.
Hey Ray thanks for checking out the review! That stinks there was a delay on that cab. Hopefully it arrives before that 8/31 date. That cabinet looks amazing 👍
It’s been a really long time but last one I remember getting on was the Batman and Robin ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ. I think it’s gone now though.
I think I still prefer the Big Blue, as the side panel art is a bit too much for me and has a "modern" look to it compared to the SF2 art from the '90s. I think if I did bite, it would be the Shinkuu Hadouken version since it has the SSF2 marquee and control deck. That being said, I think this is the best game lineup yet on a Street Fighter Arcade1Up. Great video as always!
Thanks Jeff, really appreciate that man! They definitely picked a great lineup of games for this one. That’s a good point about the side artwork as it’s not historically accurate but it grew on me personally. I’m digging the characters and the quality of art on those panels. That Big Blue cab awesome too. Enjoy your weekend & thanks again for checking the video out!
Another great review man! These new Capcom Legacies are really going on me. Love the new form factor. Since you have Big Blue and this one...what deck do you like better and would you get BB or this one?
Thanks Nick! I’m definitely liking this one more than the Big Blue. I’m still keeping the Big Blue though, that’s a great cab also. The new cabinet design and marquees are awesome!
Great review as always Jason and happy you enjoy it! I noticed since I got my Simpsons cab that all the sticks have been better. I also got X-Men around the same time and the sticks feel like the old ones but my Simpsons, Killer Instinct, Dragons Lair, and MK 30th all have nicer feeling sticks. However, I personally would have preferred the TN monitor but that's just me. Jk. I hope all is well and have a good weekend.
Thanks Complete Geek TV! The controls have definitely improved a bit over the past few cabs. I like them on this cab much more than the Big Blue I have. I love the new show you got with Cooltoy, keep up the great work guys!
@@harveys9 the biggest difference is the joystick quality. Much tighter on the Yoga Flame. I also love the artwork on the Yoga. The game lineup is about a tie I think between the two cabs.
I’m debating either buying this or the capcom legacy Shinku hadoken edition, I heard they both have the same 14 games, the yoga flame edition went down to $399 so the yoga has the better value than the shinku hadoken which is close to $600. Any comparison? Let me know.
Both are great machines. The only difference between the two is the artwork. I think the Shinku version might look slightly better but I would probably go with the better deal.
Thanks darkempire, really appreciate that brother! I love both the new Capcom Legacy cabs but went with this one since I already had a blue Street Fighter cab in the game room and another blue one coming next month in MVC2.
Great review Jason! Do the games save high-scores on the roms themselves? I don't mean the wi-fi leaderboards on the arcade1up menus, but within the games themselves. I heard this worked (similar to mame) on the previous Capcom legacy cabinet, but may not be work on this one.
Thanks Matt I really appreciate that! Unfortunately it doesn’t save local high scores just like the last Capcom Legacy. I forgot to mention that in the review.
You can add more speakers on there with better bass you know that just get a splinter and add extra speakers or you can take those old speakers out and put better ones🎮🕹😀👍🏽
Was that a neo Geo arcade cabinet in the opening?? I Always wanted a neo Geo Arcade cabinet. Neo Geo was way ahead of it's time and unique because it was the first arcade machine to play 3 or more games on it. How much do neo Geo machines go for or how much are you willing to sell it for?
That’s the Neo Geo MVSX which currently is available on their website. It’s a 3/4 scale home arcade that has 50 Neo Geo titles built into it. I believe it’s around $500 on their website.
@@3rdFloorArcade So far the blue version is only available through shophippo in Canada. It will come with import/duty costs though. Hopefully a domestic retailer will carry it like The Brick or Walmart.
I’d love to add an original Street Fighter cabinet eventually. It would probably have to go in the basement since there’s no way it’s fitting in the 3rd Floor haha
Is there ever an arcade you don't think is worth the money? Always seem happy to add it to the 3rd Floor arcade.

Thanks Nick! I’m definitely liking this one more than the Big Blue. I’m still keeping the Big Blue though, that’s a great cab also. The new cabinet design and marquees are awesome!
In terms of quality how does this one compare to the previous 1ups and or your favorite cab.
This one definitely has a more quality and slightly larger feel to it. The marquee and control deck is much better. And the cabinet is heavier.
@@3rdFloorArcade good to know thank you
Thinking I'm going to sell my Legacy Edition and pick this one up.
Nice! The Yoga Flame cabinet is definitely pretty awesome 👍
@@3rdFloorArcade Thanks Jason and appreciate it. Enjoy your weekend
This is a great game lineup. Not sure I’d need to mod this one ever.
I agree, definitely nice mix of games on here. Some great beat’em ups, shooters and fighting games. Thanks for checking out the video UCLAKoolman!
@@3rdFloorArcade you’re welcome! Your pong pub table video was very informative and I finally pulled the trigger on it when it went on sale!
@@UCLAKoolman nice pickup! How do you like the Pong Pub Table? I think that’s such a great product from A1UP 👍
Hi Jason, did you happen to see the a1up double dragon II cab? I'm already planning for it lol just a heads up
Hey bro! Yeah I saw that cab, I’m definitely interested in that one too!
When you turn n the machine, can you play right away.
Yeah when you turn on the machine it takes you right to the main menu where you select the game you want play.
I’m on the leaderboard for capcom sports club!!! 3:37
Ebert
Very cool! 👍
Nice!
Bad ass cabinet
Thanks Ezek estra! I really appreciate you checking out the review!
Great video, great channel as well. Would you go for big blue or yoga flame?
Thanks so much Harvey09 9 I really appreciate that! I would go Yoga Flame over Big Blue. Both are great cabs though.
Sorry to ask but why lol
Does anyone know how to mod this cabinet with the new lcd controller board
did you have to buy the riser separately or did it come included
This version has the riser included.
OK thanks for answering
The cab does look good! Great job brotha 💯 , this one is on my "get" list 😅
Thanks C T Jason, much appreciated bro! I love these new cab designs. 👍💯👊
Awesome video
Thanks Brian, I really appreciate that! So far I’m really enjoying this cabinet 👍
@@3rdFloorArcade man youtube is not send me your videos
Hey Jason, another awesome video! What made you decide on the Yoga Flame version vs the Hadoken one?
Thanks darkempire, really appreciate that brother! I love both the new Capcom Legacy cabs but went with this one since I already had a blue Street Fighter cab in the game room and another blue one coming next month in MVC2.
@@3rdFloorArcade makes sense. Like you, I prefer this cab design, but the control board on the Hadoken version
@@darkempire2022 the world map on that one looks amazing 💯
Great review Jason! Do the games save high-scores on the roms themselves? I don't mean the wi-fi leaderboards on the arcade1up menus, but within the games themselves. I heard this worked (similar to mame) on the previous Capcom legacy cabinet, but may not be work on this one.
Thanks Matt I really appreciate that! Unfortunately it doesn’t save local high scores just like the last Capcom Legacy. I forgot to mention that in the review.
@@3rdFloorArcade Thanks for the reply! Keep up the great videos! Looking forward to seeing this cabinet in your arcade.
@@Rmme_Retker thanks Matt! 👍
@@3rdFloorArcade you mean nine if the games save local high scores ?
Have yo been able to soft mod this cab like The Simpsons?
I haven’t modded this cab. I generally like keeping them stock but I’m sure it’s possible to add a lot more games on there.
You can add more speakers on there with better bass you know that just get a splinter and add extra speakers or you can take those old speakers out and put better ones🎮🕹😀👍🏽
That would be a really good upgrade! 👍
This vs Big Blue, which is the better buy in your opinion?
Both are great but I prefer this one over Big Blue.
@@3rdFloorArcade Awesome. Awesome. I will check it out. Thanks
Is the coin purse on that machine functional?😮
@@AsianViajers the coin door on there isn’t functional, just for the look unfortunately.
Hey Jason have you ever read the rock and roller coaster
No I haven’t read that.
How do make the arcade machine only work when you pay?
I’ve seen it done before with these Arcade1up machines but I’m not sure how to do it.
Have you ever been on king da ka Jason
Hmmmm I’m not sure. I might have actually. That sounds really familiar.
How difficult would it be to mod this unit into a multicade?
Hey Jason what roller coasters have you written it’s Jayden
Are these Boe monitors?
Yes
thanks@@3rdFloorArcade
Can we get a pro series street fighter cabinet
That would be awesome. I’m sure that’s coming at some point.
@@3rdFloorArcade yeah they need to do that now.
Can we get the shinku hadouken one in canada ?
That Hadoken cabinet looks so good. I hope both of these are going to be available in Canada!
@@3rdFloorArcade So far the blue version is only available through shophippo in Canada. It will come with import/duty costs though. Hopefully a domestic retailer will carry it like The Brick or Walmart.
Can you modify it long-term to play other street-fighter or capcom games?
There’s ways to mod them but I like just keeping them stock 👍
Jason you to mod at least one with 3/4 mdf or get at least one real arcade
I’d love to add an original Street Fighter cabinet eventually. It would probably have to go in the basement since there’s no way it’s fitting in the 3rd Floor haha
Does anyone know if these link up with the big blue to play online?
Yes they do 👍
How high is the control deck on this unit? Thanks in advance!
It’s about 38.5 inches high. It’s slightly higher than the older Arcade1up machines. I really like how the deck is slanted on this cabinet also.
@@3rdFloorArcade Thank you!
Sega CD final fight is the best port is arcade perfect and the music with the guitar instrumental it's awesome it's the best one🕹🎮😀👍🏾
Yeah the Sega CD version is so good!
Hey Jason it’s Jayden what is the craziest ride you’ve ever been on
Maybe the Batman & Robin roller coaster at SIx Flags. How about you?
The pirate ship at Hersheypark
I have never been on the Batman and robin roller coaster
Nyc is the best state ever
Did you get mvc2?
I did! The MVC2 cab is a great one!
Would you buy the megacade I think it’s called
It sounds pretty great but I honestly don’t know a whole lot about it .
@@3rdFloorArcade
It’s like 10,000 dollars lol
@@kana2113 haha wow. I had no idea it was that much.
