When I got my C-02 I was immediately struck with how special this thing felt to me. I was a bit taken aback at how fulfilling it felt to hold and manipulate this toy. It's like childhood fantasy in the palm of your hand. It also has a very full circle feeling as someone who this figure was one of my first TF figures ever and currently owns too many other Primes. This one might possibly be the last Prime I need to buy for myself (hahahaha yeah right).
The stance on these just looks AMAZING. Adding some leg articulation makes such a huge difference to this guy. Having his legs being able to spread out makes such a difference. I love that you can actually recreate the box art pose with it as well. I love this guy! I have got to get him.
Great video. Before today I didn't know that the missing link versions had 2 Primes. Nowhere could I find clear cut what the differences were. Your video did it all!
Looks great. I pre-ordered 2 of the toy version and cancelled my toon version. Three toon is just too plain looking and also doesn't have the white thighs.
I wouldn't say the new trailer doesn't offer anything new. Sure, the launcher gimmick has been removed but instead you get the removable repair drone as a trade off, which if you think about it was shown once in the G1 cartoon, so the trailer would make a great companion to the C02.
It's a gorgeous toy, and I love it everything about the idea and aesthetic of it, but the engineering of the hips and the thigh rotation are a bit disappointing. There's too much stress being put on those sliders, and The legs attached with just a pin joint. Plus, on mine and quite a few other reviewers copies, the thigh rotation rotation is crazy tight. Turning it also adds significant stress on that leg joint and those sliders. I can definitely see as the plastic ages, some people snapping those legs off. Anyway, what I did was put a spacer in between the two sliders to support them and reduce their movement when manipulating the legs. As for the thigh rotation, I had to very tightly hold the top of the leg and carefully rotate below to loosen the joint up. But it's still far too tight.
I love this out dreams come true I just cant afford the 200 after ship and tax to get one so just have to buy a G1 ko have . Thank you for sharing this amazing figure with us
@@TMReviews The cheapest I found for the prime with trailer was 175 plus tax and ship Canadian we pay a lot more here leaders go in most site around 74

I feel the same way
I feel like this would be the best desk bot to be put on the (wfh) work desk where you literally can’t stop fiddling with it.

Glad I could help.
Awesome Review mate!! Just ordered mine. Can’t wait to finally get this toy in hand!!
I collect Hasbro/Takara, MP, Legends, 3rd Party & 4th Party Optimus Primes. I ordered both the toy & animated versions. I can’t wait to get mine.
Very very rarely. Do I ever buy two of something. This case I did.
Here's to hoping they continue the missing link G1 line
Bro! Just got him today. He’s so fn cool. I have him posed in a running stance on one foot. Gun in his right hand and axe in his left. It’s sick.
Really wish that they'd included at least one Diaclone figure with the toy colour version.
Thank you for your great review and comparisons.

This figure makes me want more upgraded G1. Thanks for going through them Sony. I don't know if I'll be able to bring myself to open it.
Thanks for watching, yeah I kept one in box and took the other out
An extra I would’ve loved for the trailer is front legs, like the MP
6/5. These guys are awesome! Thanks for checking these out. What stand is that?
Hasbro Pulse stand
Didn't pull the trigger on these but now I'm rethinking that poor decision. Great review
Thanks
Big bad toy store has restocked on this. Probably won't be up for long
I've got the toy version. It is so good.
It nails all the nostalgia cues.
Love it ❤
Great review with the original prime as well.
Thanks!🙏
I love this bot. Great review. Now I gotta get the toy version too. Thanks for the great work!
Thanks for watching
I was well into my 30s before I realized my original Prime even had knee articulation. It was super stiff, so I just never noticed.
Both are Great!.. Great Review ✨️😀
Thanks

But you do get some pretty powerful missile launchers still. So that's pretty cool.
Yeah that's true. I did show that too😂

The only thing missing is elbow bend beyond 90 degrees. But then he’d lose part of his aesthetic.
Of course, C-02 doesn't come with a trailer. It's like Takara knows people would prefer the blue over the yellow.
Great review, boss.
Thanks

Thanks for watching, wow is it really 200? Mine was 130 shipped
