That HJ is just gorgeous. Another great post Fletch. I liked your comments about the XY reminding you of Homicide. I followed a White VJ Valiant Ranger in traffic about a week ago......yep all I thought about was Homicide, Matlock Police and Division 4.
My wife's first car was a 63 Fairlane, purchased in 74 when she was 18 for $400 from a wholesale yard in Blakehurst Sydney. Good goer, great to put into bendy roads, did a lot of fun miles, the 260 ended up so worn we had to open all windows because of the fumes.
Beautiful Celica my dad have 7 Between the Ta22 and Ra28 when he was my age in his 20s during the 70s. He also had an FX he paid. 80 bucks for and flogged it and then gave it to his neighbour for free
Mum and dad had a 63 fairlane back when we had the wrecking yard. I remember one day when Mum went to get us from school and found that dad pulled the motor out and sold it, it was a 351w 😂dad was in the shit haha he put a 302 back in
Monaro aimed at young market, yet more expensive to buy........super dooper expensive to insure. My choice would have been a Belmont Ute with V8........had I been old enough.
Not sure Shannon’s insurance or classic restos should be promoting a club where the “people that manage it” have a history of physically assaulting other club members.
What a great setup! Well done Grafton, and well done Fletch for showing it to us all
Thanks Fletch and club members. Nice setup and beautiful cars.
My first car was a 1976 Celica with a 2TG engine. Love them!
Looks like a great club Fletch.
