Irina Koroleva was on fire in that last set. She’s definitely the queen of blocking, not surprised why she got the best blocker award along with Yan Ni. Two of my favorite players

I had already seen this game twice and gonna watch this again. Voronkova with a cool hair was superb in this five set match and the respectful Japanese crowd was amazing! 🇯🇵🇷🇺

Three cheers to the fighting spirit of the Japanese girls. Though they were defeated badly in the opening set they rose up in the 2ñd & 3rd set to the surprise of every one & won those 2 sets. Though they fought well in the 4th set , the Russians scraped through the 4th set. The 5th set became easy for the Russians. But the young Japanese girls deserve our appreciation for their brilliant spirit & fine resilience.
Whether it's the men or the women, Japan is ALWAYS hard to beat, even for the #1 or #2 ranked team in the world. No matter how good you are, if you don't bring your A-game, for the entire match, Japan will beat u.
They have such energy, organisation, speed and skill! 🤩
We got to witness the game that saw Ishikawa transform from _Everyone's Little Sister_ to _One Of The Pillars Of The Team._ Such a great game by the youngster.
Russia great and intimidating, as they always are.
Such a fun game to watch.

You can watch this match and another russian matchs on Thai youtube channel writed in Thai language, coz most Russian international fans came from this country, followed by Filipinos, Brasilians, Vietnamese, Indonesians, Mexicans and Chinese.
I think Thailand is first then Brazilians. They talk about these Russians at length in instagram posts and pages over there
