    Thank you for the content! New beekeeper here, this is my second spring with bees. These hive inspection videos specifically about what you see related to their food is just the learning I am needing. Thank you!

    Winding down with the bees getting them ready for winter planning a trip getting ready to meet some beeks. Getting out of Wisconsin in January will be a treat.

    I can’t stop bragging about how well your nucs have done in my bee yard! Colonies I bought from you in April have filled a 3 box Apimaye 7 stack, a 30 frame Long Lang, and a flow hive with an extra medium box, and I’ve already gotten 30 pounds of honey from a traditional 10 frame lang with a medium super from bees installed in late April. The queens are super brick layers and the colonies are producing honey like mad! Good luck to your little 7 frame nuc! With your genetics I’m sure they’ll do just fine. See ya in January at NAHBE!

    I just set up my Apimaye 7 frame with a split. Great little, multi-use hive.

    That was pretty interesting. When you pointed out the corn pollen there were two bees. One was really dark and other was very light and golden. Curious if the dark one was a drone, even though it didn't look very large. Also wondering why we see a couple of bees totally burying themselves in a cell with nothing showing but their bunns.

    I had a little trouble in my 7 frame Apimaye hive getting that first frame out when i used it in the spring to make a couple of splits.Ill still buy another one as they are just too handy for springtime splits.Thanks for posting Kamon!

    Ha Kamon good information and a great video as well. I know u like big clusters for the winter, but if u did not sell bees and do splits early how many frames of bees and brood do u like to see going into the winter that u are comfortable with. Would u over winter a hive with 3 frames of bees what do u think will survive your winters there in Tenn. Thanks again for the great video did u get my email have a blessed week. Thanks

    Hello sir just a question here.
    How do you build a strong hive around 2-3 deeps full of bees?
    And how long does it take?

    Is 7 frames considered a nuc or hive Kamon?

    • @kamonreynolds
      @kamonreynolds  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think 1 seven frame hive is still borderlining a nuc if it isn't packed
