Getting Started with Stock Investing | Barbara Armstrong | 4-26-24
In this webcast, we discussed position sizing. We looked at two components. One was the maximum % we were willing to hold in any one stock relative to our total portfolio size. The second was to define the maximum risk we were comfortable in taking on any one trade which could be expressed as a percentage of total portfolio size or a finite number. We placed 2 example trades on the thinkorswim paperMoney platform and then demonstrated how to add a stop loss to an existing order.
