    Thanks for the amazing video! Apologies if I missed this, but why are we using a dentine shade when using the single shade technique (instead of a body shade)?

      It really depends on the nomenclature. Some companies use “body” to identify the dentin. Some others use “body” to identify a shade that has “medium” opacity, this means that it could be used as a single shade. The system I am using here is composed of dentin and enamel shades. In the case in mention I am using the dentin side for my entire restoration since using the enamel only will most likely give me a more “translucent” (gray) result.     my dentist really butchered my front tooth doing this wrong with shaving down too much at the back of tooth. Now I have daily headaches and dentin showing through as dark areas.
