I was shocked (not in bad way) how the ~ age is around 35 I think. I seriously thought okay most people will be around 20-25 😅 with my 19y I felt like a kid 😂 (yes it was my first defqon, wanted to go last year but had exams)

Yes man. This is it. Escaping from the reality and unite with all kind of people in peace. I have visited all the Defqon Weekenders and still every year its getting better. This year was even more crazyness. ❤
Hi Teacher Paul. I was there last night. It was so very beautiful it brought me to tears. It was my first Defqon 1. I was there with 2 of my sons. It’s a powerful place to be with so many humans with one focus. 2 left-rights was AMAZING!!!! Definitely Power of the Tribe.

The name of this event was Thunderdome'96.
More than 150 events later it was enough for me. Started a total other chapter in life. Family. But still sometimes watching a event on TH-cam can gife me goosebumps

i remember being at tomorrowland several years ago where the bass was replaced by well timed fireworks. And it held up for so long without going out of timing. These closing rituals are beautifull and very hard work.
I am there since 2014 every year, and every Sunday i have to cry when it comes to the end. I love to see your reaction, and that you get goosebumps and directly unterstand the spirit of the harder styles 🧡🫶

it was my 4th defqon this year and i can tell you, after 3-4 days of nonstop good vibes, crazy people, nice and loud music, when you come home it feels like something was taken from you and you feel empty. It is just and undescribable feeaing living throu an evet like this

Hello I am from Germany.
At Defqon1 they have a completely new stage design every year and the final show has been adapted to the new theme. So you'll be surprised and blown away every year.
Yes, the final show is something special in the videos. But you have to experience it live once.
By the way, there are many festivals like this in the Netherlands, all of which have an end show.
This is simply standard for the Dutch.
Something else nice, no matter what festival I went to in Holland, I never experienced that there was any stress or anything like that.
The Hollenders are simply a peaceful party and celebration people.
About the song on the left right: As far as I know, the song was first released in the hardstyle scene in 2009 by “Pavo & Zany - Orgasmo” and was also called something else.
I think Left, Right was at Defqon for the first time since 2018. th-cam.com/video/cnMtsrFCyDc/w-d-xo.html yes and since then it has simply been impossible to imagine life without it.

I'm 39 years old and I use to love drum and bass since I was 12 until I found these defqon 1 end show videos about 4 years ago and I have dropped drum and bass and have never looked back and to think I hated this music before lol im yet to go to defqon but I'm going to holland in 10 days time to the dominator festival and I went last year to qlimax which was awesome ! Such a beautiful scene and everyone if one big family !
It was my first Defqon and definately not my last one, its such an experience in all senses, i'm in love with hardstyle!

IMHO this year shows weren’t on the expected level especially for the 20th edition. I expected more 😅
Yea 10 stages we could choose from. The MainStage has a capacity of about 65k people. The stage itself had a width of 114,5m and a height of 34m.
My first defqon was in 2006... and still going till this day :)

As somebody that was there I must say it was the best weekend of my life. My 4th time attending but this year was by far the best.

My 15 Th Defqon was amazing . Every year it become bigger and better . Its hard to buy tickets but wen you have tickets your in heaven )) The mean stage was incredible beautiful …. I love it …’.and I am 40 years old . My county is the best country to party 😊Thanks Q-dance .
They also have and had endshow for Saturday, which is longer than this. And also, on Friday, there is kind of an closing or "endshow" with The Spotlight with This is Sefa. And they have been incredible for many many years already. Much love for Q-dance and Defqon.1 🧡

I had been watching the endshows for 7 years and every year i wanted to be there. Finally that sunday you're seeing here i was there with my best friend. I was tearing up during that closing ritual to finally be there in person with all those people having the absolute time of my life. I was at the 3rd pole (counting from the stage) to the right. Shit was absolute bonkers and magical. Me and my best friend had our hands on eachothers shoulder the whole time embracing the moment as it was the first time for both of us. This festival just does something to you.
Hey we were there all 4 days and as you said it was indescribable... It has been our 4th Defqon and there will be more of course. Once you've been there, you're infected with this overwhelming feeling of unity in the love for the music 🥰 Kind regards Vivi

@@DACHBenelux What you saw here was just the official livestream of the event. When Q-dance uploads the official video of the endshow and the closing ritual, better camera angles are shown, the audio has no problems and it is synchronized with the video (in the stream it had about half a second delay). In addition, the cuts and video effects (zooming in to the beat etc.) are better. The official video should be released next weekend on the Q-dance TH-cam channel.

Defqon.1 never fails to amaze me. Been going there since 2006 when it was on a different and way smaller location. Awesome to see how much this event grew over the years and every year, Defqon.1 is one of my highlights of the year
The defcon1 tribute 2024 has a good visual of the UV stage and how a narrow space is utelised

I was there for my 11th edition and this was by far the most emotional I’ve ever got this defqon meant so much more it was by far the best edition from all of my past 11! Embrace The Dark we heard premiered at the Ghost Stories Theatre on the Thursday so glad it was part of the closing 🧡🧡🧡 WE ARE DEFQON.1

You should watch the shows out of 2019 and especially the ones from 2022. The 2022 edition was the first one after corona. i was there and it was totally insane after not been able to party for 2 years!

Fun fact you cant wear a tshirt of a footballclub here most problems i seen at these partys was amsterdam vs rotterdam. Thats the reason they banned club tshirts. You can wear orange thats allowed.

offcourse they go big. Defqon is 1 of the biggest if not the biggest hardstyle events in the world. This year was a bit smaller then last years numbers wise i think, but still atleast 100.000 people went there. And i think the average ticketprice among those that went was probably €150-200 and then probably that same amount for food and drinks. so we are talking about prettymuch 20-30 MILLION for just that 1 event. With that much money going round you can afford to go big.
And before the war in russia i have been to a different q dance event where there was a group of 10 guys that came from russia, not just the close to us side of russia, but from beyond moscow from our side. Those guys traveled for more then a week to be there. And OFFCOURSE they where waving the russian flag. Actually i think we where surrounded by like 15 different flags from all over the world. Its pretty insane. And the vibe on these partys is even more insane.
And that event was just 1 day, defqon is 3 days, and you can camp there as wel. So its much easier from people that came from far to go here and "justify" the long travel. Atleast they get to party 3 days for their long trip, not just 1 night.

I had no idea what DefQon is, well I’m not into this kind of music but the laser shows and pyro’s were excellent. No I prefer symphonic metal-rock any day over this music. They too have their festivals, the most famous e is Wacken in Germany that usually has over 80000 people.
There are a lot of metalheads at Defqon even some reactions on the endshows ,songs and thongs are metalheads who react on YT :)
I have seen it live the years before where more epic imo.
2022 and 2023 where better i think but lets wait for the original of Q dance ;p

U dont understand... U dont see anything except some lasers and fireworks when ur in middle of the crowd. People are standing so close its impossible to really dance also... So a lot of people take their phones to see the show/ on the display.

Worst edition after 4 years going a weekend by myself as a Dutch person. Way too much non dutchies... Even the Aussies told me this was there worst year speaking for the atmosphere ,because of all the non Dutch visitors
I went to "vroeger was alles beter", the atmosphere was way better. 99,90% Dutch people.

Nothing new all the same music and the power hour was terrible granted I only watched 20 min of it cause it sounded like shit. I am a big fan of defqon but this year seems to be a little to soft for me. Best set so far is ran-d
