war thunder: you slightly touch ground and whole plane explodes.
War Thunder is actually a kid of a IL-2 game series. The history is older that you and me.
@@IndiKot yeah you can see many IL-2 like features (dynamic campaign, historical campaign, mission editor) are still in war thunder, though war thunder is getting less and less IL-2 like with every update (and I hate that)

Go back to War thunder dude. A plane in that game explodes if an inch of the tip of a planes wing hits a branch.

1:26 this one would have been really different IRL. Probably the IL-2 would end up half buried and with its wings ripped. The nose all deformed
It would completely disintegrate. Check the crashes of Su-24s in Ukraine, and those are much sturdier than the aluminum of an Il-2. There'd be practically nothing left except the tail section.

Only if you opened it less than a second after leaping away from your cockpit. A move which would have been sort of dangerous because the tail fin could easily have grabbed his chute.

I love these videos, and would like to make a suggestion that could possibly make your videos even more popular. If you can, display a list of the damage and body/motor malfunctions? I'm not sure if it's possible to do though, so no worries if not.
I remember there being a little menu which shows what got damaged but that was 4 years ago so idk if it still exists

I always let pilots get in their planes and make it off the ground for a few seconds. I like when their hopes build up before they get cruelly dashed 🤣

7:00 Tail has the colors of Italy but elsewhere....a mere triangle? I thought both ISR and Mussolinis earlier Italy had other kinds of wing and fuselage emblems.
Italy didn't use the tricolor on the tail during wartime, but the white Savoy cross (except for maybe very very early in the war)
Some other nations did use the same colours tho ;)

...Ehhh, I don't think that IL-2 should've gotten away with being so intact in this case at that angle/speed. And not embedded in pieces in the ground like a broken lawn dart.

Don't get me wrong, I have IL-2 and enjoy playing it, but I really need to know what they make their aircraft out of... Since they very rarely disintergrate or pancake after smacking the ground, you'd think they were made from Adamantium!

This game was made in 2009 .give it a break. Also a plane slightly touching the ground would not explode .Both OF THOSE GAMES ARE UNREALISTIC but war thunder is more realistic in a way
