I little back history, I am male and yes us guys love watching your channel as well and former fashion design student. I am also a big age and love fashion pieces I can keep for decades.True story I waiting for the Versace velvet medusa head loafer to go on sale for 2 years. I still know people in the fashion industry and she said if you love those one of a kind loafers buy them. And I had to buy them at full priced I am happy I did, 3 months later Versace took them off the website and I couldn't find them anywhere NEW.
You’re right about buying luxury abroad. I was just in Spain and Prada bags that were $2600 in the states were 1800 euros which ended up being $1950 USD. I ENDED UPBGETINGS $250 back so it was an absolute steal for me
I have definitely come up getting my bags from consignment shops at home and abroad! Also, keep all receipts and don’t pop the tag until ready to wear. I recently bought luxury heels from a Netaporter sale 2 weeks ago. I randomly go to Nordstrom last week and what do I see: the same shoe on sale at $150 cheaper. Cashier kindly placed order for my size. Once I got on the mail, I returned the other ones. I know Netaporter doesn’t charge fees to return, so it was a no brainer. I’m also going to Panama soon and hope the prices there line up with Europe. My coins are ready.
queen! your videos are coming in handy. I was about to purchase my first pair of luxury shades FULL PRICE! Saw this video and Jomashop had them almost 65% OFF. God is good and you are saving lives and wallets.
I Love Pre Loved Items ❤ I would rather put those extra Coins in my Retirement! I’ve been in High End Retail for over 20 Years, so I know Never Pay Full Price for Anything 😂
I'm a big Baltini fan and have been shopping them for a while. They've now moved the company from the East Coast to Vegas. A few weeks back, one of the bags that I have which retails for $1,050 everywhere else, popped up on Baltini for $298. There was more than one bag and the others were reduced to the $500 range. But, one overseas store listed its bag for $298. There was only one bag at that price. One never knows what prices might pop up. I had bought the same bag about a month and a half prior, but for more than the $298 price, but nowhere near $1,050. A month later, I also ended up getting a second bag, like the first one, but in a different color as I was using the first one so much. It was less than half the retail price. Be sure about what you purchase as to do a return on Baltini, it's $35. There's no shipping price to the customer depending on how much is being spent. On the two bags that I got, in different months, I ended up with around $1,200 total less than retail price. The items are brand new and still current and still selling at retail price about everywhere else. As for shopping overseas, for decades I always waited until I got overseas annually to do my shopping which I've been doing since the 70s. I make my wish list and then head to the stores in whichever country or on whichever continent where I plan to be vacationing and then shop. I get the lower base price, compared to here in the U.S., and also the sales tax is deducted. I usually do my Christmas shopping overseas even if it is many months before Christmas. Then, around the actual Christmas season, I can focus on shopping for what I want during all of the pre-season sales. I just bought the first family member Christmas gift 2 days ago, but here at home. Greetings from Los Angeles
Thank you for this video. So useful. I have recently had weight loss surgery and looking forward to purchasing good quality pieces. Your method of sourcing affordable luxury items is so realistic, especially for someone starting a new wardrobe. Stay blessed, Queen 💜💜
I’m only willing to pay retail for a Birkin or a new bottle of Dior lol. Great tips! Another tip is to be friends with a sales associate so you can use their discount, assuming they don’t mind and/or have a yearly cap 😉. Thanks for sharing 😊
I was in dire need of the Hermes CDC Bracelet I rose gold but she was 8 stacks from Hermes directly and I just couldn’t justify it. Sure I want a Constance or birkin one day but once I saw FASHIONPHILE had the bracelets in giftable condition for half the price with authenticity cards, box, pouch and receipts. I couldn’t help myself. Miss me with the Hermes purchase history. I like what I like and I did it sustainbly. Best decision I made and I was able to get a Cartier bus down wrist too!
You ARE independently wealthy! Wealth is only partly assets. True wealth is having enough to sustain you plus a support them to have in abundance! Plus, never sell your bags. I have one of the first ever baguettes, and if I sold it bc it fell out of favor, a treasure might be lost. Just be selective in your purchase, LOVE IT, and then use them everyday, never try to match it, just use it with confidence, you have that!!! For sure!!!
Yes I listened to your podcast today and I loved it!!! I’m now able to afford luxury and I have anxiety about paying full price!! That’s for the information
Thanks for videos like this! Very informative! As a shopper who is now branching out and purchasing luxury items! I needed to hear this! Thank you very much!
Girl you never pay retail unless its a last resort. Karma addon is helpful, so are intermittent google searches to see what new discount retails show up. I have an Athena from AWE, they do lovely things. My issue is sizing. I'm a 16/18 and theres not alot. Also get onto the designers mailing list. I got 2 great Marine Serre pieces on their 60% off end of year. Try 1st dibs too
To me the best thing to do is to purchase abroad. You can save a lot of money that way. I have my eyes on a very specific Gucci and I’m gonna wait until I go to Italy later this summer and get it there. I just don’t trust second hand because there’s too many fakes.
Christopher John Rogers is the ONLY ONE honestly that I’ll always support at full cost, at black boutiques or pre-sales…or if I find it on sale later, errbody else is a couture clearance find honey! Because it WILL go on sale! lol 😅😂😂
Thanks for this video! I haven't reached the luxury level yet, but when I do I will be very thoughtful about what I buy. This is great info. Thanks so much for this.
As always fabulous video‼️ thanks for sharing 😍👌🏾👏🏾🔥 great tips and suggestions!!! Not only did you mentioned the places but showed the website!!! The best 💯
If you go to Tanger Outlet near the Hamptons is a great vacation spot with great Shopping, Wineries, Beaches, Farm to Table Dining. The boutique Hotel Indigo is close, beautiful, friendly. I hear Sawgrass Mills in Broward County, FL is also amazing.
Be careful about fakes. I stopped buying secondhand because too many fakes. I prefer to just buy what I can afford original. The only one that I trust right now is the real real and they’ve had their own problems as well. But I usually sell to them Louis Vuitton, primarily and mines are all original from the store.
I appreciate the tips. I really appreciate this video on shop and luxury on. I have two opinions on it. I love the experience of going into the boutique and purchasing a luxury item. I love the fact I had a treat you with this the whole experience, and then I like the route the resale side of it too but I do appreciate your tips gives you something to think about for your future. I mean I have a grandchild right now and I would like to save money for her so I want to watch my penny I want to watch McCoy so thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.❤❤❤
This was very helpful! I’ve been on a search for a Paco Rabanne bag for a few months now. I think I finally found the one for me on Cettire. I’m looking forward to planning an outfit around it. (Especially to see 👑🐝!)
My two cents is to be careful with the likes of fashionphile they sold me a fake Chanel ☹️ so some fakes pass thru. I got a refund but was def gave me trust issues..
Thank you for this email, I am on a no-spending few months but Sis, I went to get a head start on looking for the fall and Christmas....and the outlet made me very happy along with some of the others you shared!!!! Loving it!!!! discount shopping we will go, I agree with all of it especially the one in and one out. I am late to the party so I am going to depart my lv clutch for a leowe one I saw and fell in love with see you in the next video.
Does YSL have “secret” sales too? I heard that they don’t do that anymore, and even on third party websites like Farfetch coupons/sales are not applicable.
Not Tony Montana flipping a brick not even done watching 😂. Just got some YSL shoes I wanted on Baltini for like 50%, wasn’t none of my business why is was that cheap 😂
Sound educational experience....I do wish that I can personally book you , fly you and host you, to come to my country to do a few sessions with me and my dearest friends and colleagues....my dream treat.... Anyways, I am not killing thatdream....😂
My question: which Luxury brands in which Euro cities give you the instant VAT refund? I hate having to take out all my stuff to show at the airport. Once I’m packed I want to stay packed. ❤
You had me at Tony Montana flipping a brick😂 This was so helpful- I’ve been wonder Cettire was legit. I’m a discount code hoe. I will hunt high and low for a discount- Zara probably the only place I pay full price but my nephew is getting a job with Inditex so Aunty will be saving coins.
Thanks for the tips. We are on the same page in regards to making luxury more affordable. We all work hard for our money and I LOVE a BIG "D"....(in this case a discount 😃) . I'm in the DC area and will stop by a couple of places you mentioned.

We're almost at 50k, we're growing and I love it. Let it flow and let's get to 100k. You and God are one hun
So close! Thank you!
Love the "one-in-one-out" policy! Makes a lot of sense...
I need to incorporate this into my life.
I would also add 24s. It’s owned by LVHM group and items typically run 30 to 50 percent off
thanks for the tip!
Another one… you crack me up every time!!!!!! Tony Montana flipping a brick😂😂😂 love love your content :)
I’ve scored designer clothes when I shop by brand on thredup.

My main tip is like what you said, "Be patient!" If you wait you will save some money. If it's a great item, it will be in a few months.
Yes mindful shopping is key

Retailers definitely let their clients know of sales. My SA at Christian Louboutin always sends me the list when they have a sale. It’s CLUTCH
Nothing beats a Kering friends and family online sale. Whew

Yup, from my understanding they stopped sales three years ago.
