- Seriously, Pokemon Investing is going Crazy right now and cannot be stopped! So many of the Sword & Shield booster boxes are seeing huge price jumps right now, and people continue to buy them! Then with Temporal Forces just releasing, the price changes in the Pokemon market are a bit wild. Iron Crown went from being a $50 card to being a $100 card, and there are listings of the card on TCGPlayer for $250.

I've been picking up some sealed products all along. In the past two years I've beefed it up and started buying sealed cases to set aside. It has not disappointed.....
The market is very interesting at the moment. Old stuff is going up and new one is very cheap. Realy nice😊
I'm having a hard time balancing investing with my itch to pull for myself, which has been awful. Resisting the urge to go tilt to try to pull something big.
That happened to me too! I pulled the prime catcher and raging bolt sir in the same pack. With how hard these pulls rates are I wasn't expecting the double banger!

In my opinion from avidly collecting from 2015 till now half the sets from Sword and Shield are just such a good personal binder collection and a sealed investment. The problem is there was way too many sets released in short time frames and it is hard to keep up with all the sets. Fusion strike will good to hold onto and brilliant stars as well. There’s other honorable mentions but also keep in mind the sets with no BB’s will be nice to pick up in display cases for the long term
Had a chance to get fusion strike booster boxes (probably announced in one of your videos) but didn’t pull the trigger. Might actually get a Lost Origin box but I’m not much of an investor. Have been holding some 151 however because I will enjoy the heck out of that set. What brought me back into collecting!

Investing in pokemon isn't something I ever thought would be this lucrative but here I am two years later always look for deals everyday.

Iron Crown is getting the traction on nickname "Moon Crown" here in Oceania, That's what people are calling the new Umbreon (Moonbreon) from ES because of the moon in the background with insane artwork AND one of best card in game play. whats your thoughts?

lol you're gonna have to have a vault inside a vault with extra locks to keep you from opening!
What I don’t get with the Fusion Strike price is we know a lot of Alt Arts from the set were stolen! Many of these boxes are trash. That might prevent people spending big on FS in the future.

Not particularly. Talked about it on one video, but I’m not that well versed on weighing packs. I hate weighing packs, so I try not to focus on it at all
I have to admit I wasn't a believer in fusion strike at first. I bought a box at 150 and I'm really glad I did.
I always thought Chilling Reign would outperform Fusion Strike pretty substantially
The rise in Fusion Strike doesn't make the most sense at the moment. Fusion Strike ranks 8th among SWSH sets in terms of cards worth $10+. The individual packs are still selling at MSRP, so its way cheaper to buy those than open a sealed booster box.
I cant imagine its going to moon just yet, I think this is just an overreaction to the Booster Boxes going out of stock on Pokemon Center.

It will end after 151. Sws era surpasses base set in terms of popularity, population, new collectors, and a large amount of quantity. After sws dries up Pokemon company have to make an alt art just as good or better

I think people are starting to panick buy these alt arts, especially psa 10s.... Umbreon vmax alt art is jumping up in price every day to new heights.

agree with post below fusion and lost gonna blast i also believe stars will as well as 2 of the 3 are great sets in my mind the fusion not so much but that my own thoughts others love it
I didn't jump on this set. I'm saving up for Twilight Masquerade. Right now I'm trying to complete Crown Zenith and Paldean Fates.
Markets make a bit of a move sometimes and then fomo builds and continues to push the market. People think they have to buy at this price before it’s “all gone” even though there’s realistically still a ton of product. Hence people trying to list evolving for $800+
and yet the prices keep rising as of right now
@@ThePokeOffice That’s what I mean, people will push the market with their greed to try and increase on whatever things are selling at but it’s only sustainable for so long. Thats exactly what happened with the iron crown, people were buying it at a reasonable price and once all the listings were gone some sellers decided they would try and list theirs for way more. The market said no and now it’s back down and corrected itself a bit. It will almost certainly continue to fall too because people will continue to open the set. Regardless of pull rates there’s always going to be decent supply for modern.
Do you think Temporal Forces will be expensive because the pull rates are so bad (like Evolving Skies), or do you think it will keep people away and deflate the price? I'm thinking it could be another Evolving Skies, even though it doesn't have the cool Eevees

Sword & Shield Booster Boxes - Wow
Just curious, my collection is relatively small and I mostly collect illustration singles because I love the art so I don’t think my loss would be so great. But for someone like you that has huge inventories of cards and booster boxes, do you have all of that insured? Major difference between investing in Pokémon and stock market is that you have to protect the physical product. What happens if water damage/fire etc? What would you recommend for people with larger, more valuable collections?
Gotta avoid the FOMO, but it’s hard to do so when the cards are stunning and I love high rarity decks for my deck(s) I want to take to League Cups
With TF, including the 2 on stream, took me 5** booster boxes to get an SIR. Absolutely insane

So how do u manipulate a cards price? Is it as simple as hiking up the price and hoping other sellers see it and hike up their prices too?
one or a few buyers go in and buy all the stock on tcgplayer and then list it for higher. I have no proof this is happening, but there's definitely ways to do it if you really want to

Don’t bother with scarlet and violet lol unless ur getting Japanese 151 booster boxes pick up sword and shield before it does what sun and moon has done way more gains and cooler boxes and Pokémon

They do, but lots of the listings don’t show up when I’m looking. Maybe it’s just a filter I need to change - I’ve never tried buying from there

SWSH is going really well. Much better than I expected. I was anticipating the post-covid crazy die down would cause SWSH prices to increase at a slower pace but I was completely wrong.
I think a lot has been on a craze and some are in the dumps

I believe a lot of ppl are fomo-ing SWSH era. But I guess it’s not bad for investors. Too much hype right now for SWSH I believe it will slow down soon then boom again later.

I would love an explanation as why you think so? like do you genuinely enjoy the artwork or are you one of those low pop is better peeps because this card just doesn't do it for me. I personally own it and it's an eyesore of a card tbh I think pretty much every vmax alt looks better than it besides duraludon vmax alt that thing is atrocious I like the trainer gallery version of it better too/ I'm curious why you like it tbh it's such a low end artwork imo @@ThePokeOffice

just a personal gripe, i despise the use of the word fomo. it just sounds corny and over played. its just supply and demand. strange market changes will always happen because ppl tend to like different things and get influenced by others.
also, i did feel like the market prices for the big cards in this set were weirdly low. like, i dont see how these prices are set by the shops on tcgplayer.
